I liked the Dark Knight, but thought it was waaaay too long for that kind of movie.
Last film i saw was 30 days of night, which i'd give 6 or 7/10. Not bad considering i'm not really into horrors. I also recommend crash which was brilliant, and Pan's Labrynth, which is Spanish but very good.
Also:

- The Bucket List
- Lucky Number Slevin
- Death Sentence
- City of God
- Iron Man

Dark Knight - pretty lame in my book

I am so excited to see that comment. I cannot tell you how fed up I am with the bandwagon jumpers saying "OH THAT MOVIE WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER GHAAAAAAAAAA YESS AWESOME"

Yet to see it, though

that's is freaking worst movie ever..it might be good for movie for those white folk that "think" they have made a huge progress toward ppl in other race so they can feel better at night

a racist cop who finger fuck a black chick change his mind in just one day...that some weak shit

Crash... which is a fucking excellent movie.

I actually had a different perspective while watching "Crash." I inferred that the characters had racial (and even ideological) prejudices that were inescapable. That is, those characters were so entrenched in their learned prejudices that any respite, whether through regret or a brief moment of heroism, would be short-lived, at best.

Depressing, but a compelling story. To me, at least.

As for "Twilight," hmmm. I'm gonna take a pass on that one.

Dark Knight. Heath's acting was incredible, but Bale is worthless as Batman. Before that it was Scary Movie 3 & 4.

If you're into horror Dead Silence is a movie that I don't remember getting much publicity but is pretty good.

This past weekend, my lady and I watched "No Country For Old Men." I had never seen it.

Awesome.

What was the last movie you watched?

Funny... a friend gave me a copy of "No Country For Old Men" last summer, still haven't got around to watching it.... it's sitting their taunting me.... will have to throw it in the DVD drive and dig into it this week.

Last movie seen.... "Quantum of Solace" (Bond J Bond).... what? yet another Bond? Sean Connery can't be beat, imho... but this film was cool, sleek, and seemed a bit darker than Bond films of the past... Again, yet another hottie who kicks ass along with him - reaping her revenge... twisting plot and state of the art visual FX.

Worth seeing for the action buff, imho

off topic -- but a film which I thought is really worth checking out, which was new to me (released in 2005) -- "Kung Fu Hustle" by Stephen Chow. Absolutely mind-blowing amazing! 10/10, imho. In Mandarin Language with English sub-titles.

Cheers

Last movie, Bond. Agree about Connery, can't be beat. I thought the movie had a bit of a Bourne feel to it. Waiting for the next Bourne movie... Last DVD Christmas Vacation, LMAO every single time.

Halfway through a sci-fi film named "Sunshine" right now.. last thing I watched before that was "Life in the Undergrowth - BBC Documentary (documentary about insects, with high speed camera's/super close ups and great descriptions" one of the most amazing things I watched along with "Planet Earth".

Rented "There Will Be Blood" the other night... incredible film but felt it was a bit too long. Definitely worth watching though.

Danie Day-Lewis's performance was superb.

If you liked "No Country for Old Men" you'll likely enjoy this one as well.

Was a bit disappointed with it. He's a top actor, but i didnt care much for the story, although the end was quite funny. I prefered the two other films he's in Last of the Mohicans and Gangs of New York. As Bill the Butcher, his performance was probably up there with There will be blood, if not better.
