Just saw slumdog millionaire on thursday. it was really good.

Last night the wife made me watch Mama Mia. I had to watch Goodfellas right after that to wash that nasty taste from my mouth...

watch Gattaca last night..it was fun. just like The Talented Mr. Ripley, Jude law's identity is used by another person. It is a interesting comparison on how to pretend to be someone else in the 40s' and the future

 
Just saw "Searching For Bobby Fischer" last night. Really good film, even if you know very little about chess. Great cast and Steve Zaillian did the screenplay.

Rating: 8

Zaillian's resume also includes the screenplays for "Gangs Of New York" and "Schindler's List." The dude knows how to tell a story. Of course, he also adapted "Hannibal" for the screen, so he's not perfect.

By the way, thanks for the reminders of films to see. I've been wanting to catch "Slumdog Millionaire." And "Dreamers"... what a gorgeous-looking film.
 
City of God is a great film.

Saw The Edukators the other night - highly recommend it. (There's talk of a hollywood remake :( )
 
Ok, this is going to be lame, but I saw kung fu panda as the last one..and i liked it!

And City of God is awesome! See it if you haven't.

Ben Button. I was dragged to it by my wife but almost 3 hours later I was pleasantly surprised.
