Where to see USA?

Just a thought, but the shortest direct route from NY to LA is about 3,000 miles. This route covering many of the ideas is 7,00, plus all of the added side trips and stuff figure 7.500 or more. England is about the size of Florida. Dude, get a really comfortable car. I'd avoid the Southern third of the country East of New Mexico in August because of the temperature and humidity. You could go in June, but that would limit some of what you can do in the mountains of the West, especially this year. but you may be able to ski a couple places. If it were me in August I would do something more like this. Eat at Montgomery in on the river in Cincinnati and go to Cedar Point in Cleveland.

If you're going from Texas to Santa Fe I threw in a side trip to see the alien stuff in Roswell.

My favorites:

The Dungeon (wild goth/fetish bar. Doesnt even open until 11pm-12am. Many nights I have left here just trying to fathom what I witnessed that night. Ive seen a woman get 100% naked and give a guy a BJ and no one cared, seen a guy pull out a knife and get beat down, and tons of other crazy shit go down) Ye Olde Original Dungeon French Quarter New Orleans, LA - New Orleans Nightlife

Yuma hit em up with any awesome ones im missing ;D

Haha I've been to most of those back in the day. I want to Oz one time because it had the coolest music, but saw makemoniesonline in real life dancing on the bar, so didn't stay long. St. Ann's is like the boundary where you don't want to cross unless you have some specific business.

Eateries:
In the Quarter, if you want Po Boys (big ass awesome sandwiches), you should check out Johnny's. Also, in the Garden District, check out Pascal's Manale for seafood and drinking.
