Why American media SUCKS



When I had free to air satellite I used to watch al jazeera English version and it was full of world news and not filled with fluff like CNN, msnbc and fox news.

The previous admin did a good job of trying to equate them with al quada but they are actually a decent source of world news and a lot less partisan than you would expect

I use them for my primary source of news online. I dont give a fuck about half the stuff on CNN.
 
wait till you see al jazeera TV. some of the usual rubbish on how Israel hates the world (aka arabs) but apart from that, its top class reporting and really interesting segments. They were banned from kuwait today because of how they reported on the government. You never gonna see that in USA news
 
I think there are some good reporters on CNN. Just yesterday I read an article on a CNN affiliate by some girl (who looks amazingly similar to French journalist Melissa Theuriau) about a local mom of three who made $6,784 on teh interwebz with the Google. That's some quality reporting, and they said the kit would only cost me $1.95. You can't make that stuff up.

Previous admin didn't have to equate them w/ al qaeda. They were airing every piece of al qaeda propaganda that al qaeda was putting out. Including all of those beheading videos. They did a great job of demonizing themselves.

I know right? If not for the hard hitting American media, who is going to keep us informed about what is going on with Lindsay Lohan and her struggle with rehabilitation? Or provide us with dumb ass travel tips?

I always laugh when I hear her talk about how rough she's had it as a "black woman" in America. Bitch please - nobody would even know you're part black if you didn't start every other sentence with it. Keep fighting the good fight Soledad...

Al Jazeera is the shit. I like The Economist too for under reported news that we should be seeing, but just aren't.

Cnn, like all other media outlets are filled with shit. All the info on aljazeera is useful and important.

Why are they like that? Because if it was real news they wouldnt get half the viewership.

I use to watch terrorist tv too and I don't see how it's much different than American media. It's all just spinning in a different direction.
