This should be fun. Why should any guy even bother getting married anymore? No more variety, no more hookups, no more excitement, no more spending your money how you want, your hot little wifey gets fat, no more fucking every night, no more watching UFC with the bros, no more going out with the guys, no more motorcycle, no more training MMA every day, no more trips to Vegas, no more everything.

Why the fuck would anyone want to get married? I think marriage is becoming an outdated institution. Women marry for financial stability and kids. Men marry for... uhhh... what the fuck would a man marry for? He has financial stability and can drop his seed anywhere he wants for the mere monthly cost of a motorcycle payment.

Besides, 50% of marriages end in divorce. And how many married men can't wait to go home to their "nagging" wife that won't give them any sex and their slobbering, screaming kids that eventually turn into ungrateful teenagers who bleed you dry of money.

I'm married and I have plenty of freedom. I lift weights nearly every day, run, play tennis, play volleyball, go wherever I want (mostly).

Married life isn't for everyone, and obviously not you.

Lower status primates can only get laid if they stick around and help the female provide for and protect her offspring. Most likely she was impregnated by an alpha male who acts on his polygamous tendency to spread his seed as widely as possible. The second child and beyond may carry the beta male’s genes. Females are monogamous by nature but lose the feeling of romantic love after a handful of years, thus all the divorce initiated by the fairer sex.

When I hear people go on about “the breakdown of marriage”, “morality” or some other crap I can’t relate to it. People are starting to act more in line with how they have been biologically programmed. Personally I hope one day people can accept that romantic relationships burn out quickly. Disney cartoons like Sleeping Beauty give young girls a totally unrealistic world view.

Men hardly ever push for marriage. They are cajoled into it. White knights and mangina’s have rigged the laws so that men get screwed after a divorce 95% of the time, and women make out like bandits.

The only conceivable reason to get married is if you want to start a family. If that is what a man wants, I can respect that. I have no interest in marriage and that is what is right for me. It is a personal choice, and one that needs to be considered carefully.
 
Higher divorce rate is because this society has a higher impulse to do things without thinking about shit.

I don't mean to be a Grammar Nazi but it is "Why did you GET married"? You cannot use past tense with did.

I always carried around a very old fashioned ideal of my own family.

Was together with my now wife for 9 years before we got married.
Been almost 5 years now and it is great.

Why did I get married? So I could goto sleep with, and wake up beside the same person for the rest of my life. What's the point of going through this beautiful journey called life, if you don't have someone to share it with?
