Is there any way that I can install Windows on my Ubuntu laptop? Any tricks on ubuntu setting to accept windows?

Thanks :)

You will need to make some unpartitioned space, then install windows and create the partitions in that space, after this you will need to reinstall the boot loader again as windows will wipe the mbr. Generally its best to install windows first .. well so i have found anyway ... maybe do some serious googling on this... generally linux forums will always have the answer you need.

OR just install virtualbox and run it in a VM

If you intend to anything like gaming dual boot is the way to go. Easiest to install Windows then Ubuntu because of how Windows will destroy the boot records. However reinstalling grub can still be done.

Have it all. Google "chameleon bootloader windows ubuntu" and you'll find a ton of guides. Set up your dual boot and then install your virtualbox/vmware in ubuntu.

Thanks guys. I'm new to ubuntu so I think I'll need time to swallow them all :D
The reason I was choosing ubuntu was the security. But I guess I made a mistake by not installing windows first on my laptop :)

Yes the options are pretty simple, no offense. Live an learn, install windows first of pay the price trying to reinstall grub.

Don't encourage the retards. Learning to partition a hard drive is simple shit.

Some people just don't care, for example they want to visit dodgy sites without the risk of malware. It's the same about me not caring about how a train works, as long as it gets me to the destination.
