You will need to make some unpartitioned space, then install windows and create the partitions in that space, after this you will need to reinstall the boot loader again as windows will wipe the mbr. Generally its best to install windows first .. well so i have found anyway ... maybe do some serious googling on this... generally linux forums will always have the answer you need.
OR just install virtualbox and run it in a VM
If you intend to anything like gaming dual boot is the way to go. Easiest to install Windows then Ubuntu because of how Windows will destroy the boot records. However reinstalling grub can still be done.
Thanks guys. I'm new to ubuntu so I think I'll need time to swallow them all
The reason I was choosing ubuntu was the security. But I guess I made a mistake by not installing windows first on my laptop![]()
wubi is a good option if youre not confident with partitioning etc
Don't encourage the retards. Learning to partition a hard drive is simple shit.
