Only got to catch the first 25 minutes of the match but to say the USA's attack was anemic in the opening quarter would have been a compliment.

Fair play to USA. Tough group but somehow found a way to defy the odds, and qualify to the knockout stages.

I'm a Klinsmann fan, he seems to know a lot about soccer. That said I was quietly rooting for Belgium because USA fans are pretty fucking gay.
I'm sorry, there is no other way to put it. To watch the overcompensating US fans try and be rabid was awkward; it reminded me of the time when Rutgers cracked the top-10 and their "fan base" didn't know how to act in the limelight. So they just dressed up like Oakland Raider fans dipped in grenadine. That was truly an awful spectacle. I like my shitty teams nice and shitty. I'm looking at you, Syracuse.
In other football news I'm rooting for a 2nd straight non-SEC NCAA champion, hopefully a Big 10 team to really shake things up. Also want to see the Jets dump Geno the Clown and have Mike Vick light things up. Rex might have his best defense yet.
