Anyways, I'm very glad I bought 5000 rounds of .223 last month, and wish I could find more ammo, but it's really tough.
I think this sort of thing could actually end up being really good for the country and us especially, even though that is pretty selfish, but who the fuck cares.

I was thinking about buying guns last night but then I realized I have a felony on my juvenile record. I really hope I can get it expunged or something so I can legally own a gun, or maybe I can have a friend hold it for me or something?

I don't know why all of you are worrying about guns and shit, this isn't going to be some gun blazing show where you'll end up saving the country with your boxes of .22lr.
Look up survival manuals, building shelters, natural edible food, basic trapping, basic boobie traps. If shit does go down you'll more than likely be on the run, there won't be resistance, there won't be media attention hailing for survivors.
You're going to be entirely on your own. If you have a family to support, figure out where your going to hide and how your going to survive. If your trying to damage a controlling entity, you'll never be able to shoot anyone that matters with your guns.
I would build a camouflaged cottage in the thick of the woods with no public roads leading to it. Have a generator with a few barrels of gas, canned foods galore, and 2 laptops filled with survival information for your area(maps, what to eat, how to filter water etc..).
Once you have the initial survival period planned out you need to figure out how to extend it by using what you prepared and what's available to you in the surrounding areas.. The key is extending your life as long as possible in case the events take a positive turn.
Guerrila warfare, damaging infrastructure, impersonation, are also things to consider, but I'll leave those up to you guys.
