Xm

props to you guys at c2m, payments have to go out as usual. cx doesn't understand that they're burning their biggest revenue streams. they also do a lot of competing with their pubs, they have own another company called tsavo, which try to buy the same media cx's pubs buy. it's got to get ugly, or another network is going to end up pulling the same shit copeac and a couple others pulled a while back. it must stop with cx!

allegedly, one specific affiliate was sending massive amount of leads via stolen credit cards, so the fraud story from VISA is probably true.

this is BS! hearing that there's no chance xm's paying cx....has anyone received a payment? If one affiliate was responsible for the credit card fraud, why are we all getting stiffed? cx is a public company in canada...they're going to stall payments until next year because they can't let their quarter look this bad to their investors.

the ams there and director isn't replying at all now to questions about when or if they're going to pay...crickets.

i know for a fact that there are others out there who these f*kers owe big $ to, if we don't say anything, they're going to get a way with not paying...and business as usual - maybe do this to others. not our fault that they are retards and leveraged themselves so much for one advertiser. every continuity advertiser ends up going under eventually, they knew this would happen...xm was no guthy renker (proactive) of the acai space!

cx - we know you're reading this....pay us now. any affiliates running on cx currently -is this what you want to end up dealing with?

I agree, this is rediculous. I am owed quite a lot of money from CX i cannot afford to take this loss. One of the reasons I run with CX is because I thought they were big and reputable, but apparently size doesn't matter, and when i have to constantly worry about getting paid, this is no way to run a business!

If this is true, then why the fuck do they hold EVERYONE's money instead of just this one singled out affiliate. What a fucking joke this is becoming, while CX and AZN hold off and hold off, more and more affiliates are jumping ship.

When you are making 100 mil a year and start jacking people for 5 figures, your days are SO numbered!

From what I've been hearing lately, a lot of the media buyers are pretty rattled about the non payments, and come new year if payments aren't out, these two networks are going to be losing their big players. Guaranteed.

Make it ugly Ruck, this has gone on long enough.

Please pull head out of ass. Everyone involved.

CX isnt here to respond, I dont think they will either?

Visa tells CX that 35% of volume is fraud. CX uses this to hold ALL payments. Nevermind having
god knows how many employees and board members to come to a decision that at worst case scenario
half is fraud and at least making a partial say 50% payment to publishers?

No that's too fucking hard. We need that cash to float these diet deals we just got live that
will hopefully save our ass.

I could make this really ugly, and if I have to wait much longer, I'm going to. All our payments
as usual, went out without a hitch.

I was dealing with Moufid on the issue on our end, but he left which my CFO called last friday. Prepare yourselves for the people jumping ship off CX. Hoping MO sticks around a bit, I've been thru Winkie, Jeff, Moufid this year.

Never in my fucking life and I worked for over 5 years some of it in logistics with the worlds largest retailer (Walmart) have I seen some of the shit I have seen from some of these bigger networks this year.

I'm "assuming" the more affiliates leaving CX equals less revenue "assuming" would decrease the chances of getting paid by CX just assumption. Has anyone sent this thread to the board members and share holders of CX? Now that would really screw shit up. It seems the CPA Network model is slowly dying don't see much of a future for it anymore.
Simple game plan moving forward:
Go test out a bunch of offers split on multiple networks then find the top 3 offers and go direct. Get a prepay from the advertiser or extend what you consider a comfortable amount of credit. Use hasoffers, hitpath, and or linktrust for tracking and make that extra margin and take your chances direct. I see no other benefit to working with networks at this point. You can't trust any networks at this point.

Well there are networks who still do pay, like they should, regardless of getting paid or not. Work with them instead.

Im sure Cx was considered on that list when all that copeac stuff went down. It's just a matter of time that a Network you "trust" will give the same song and dance.

as a comment to the "copeac stuff" comments, everyone was paid for Opes traffic, everyone likes to bitch when things dont go according to plan but when they are corrected no one says anything.

Just wanted to clear it up.

If anyone wants Issa Asad's (the owner of XM) cell phone, home address or any info let me know. He owes us since last november

i bet there was no fraud, visa don't give a shit about xm...they probably just had ridic charge backs and got their mids locked up...they're claiming fraud to evade payments to the networks, and the networks are going to start blaming affiliates for fraud to not pay...when there was no fraud. do affiliates really have the time to manually put in stolen cc numbers? i mean wouldn't they catch them right away by ip address or cookies or something? is that the kind of fraud they are talking about?

There's a lot more fraud then you would think. While, I find their figures a bit high and slightly unrealistic, it could be the case that they did have such high fraudulent percentage of sales.
