Most of the people here are hippies, actually.

Nah, unfortunately not. A lot are money-worshipping kids who are happy to con dumb fuckers into buying the latest get-rich-quick/weight loss rebill scam, yet complain like hell when they get fucked over by other cunts. They might like their drugs and dream of free love, but that's as far as the likeness goes.

The categories are way to narrow for anyone who actually thinks for themselves to tick one. I might share some views with libertarians, anarchists, socialists, capitalists, environmentalists, liberals (in both the traditional/European and the American sense), and other ideologies. Yet I wouldn't align myself completely with any of them, let alone with a political party who's values change at the whim of the powerful few who control said party.

I don't fall within any organized political group because I feel that parties and groups only serve two purposes.

1) To give our lazy absent minded voters an easier way to choose who they want.
2) To sneak in undesired legislation to those same people, since they rarely read the fine print and just assume it conforms to their idea of what their chosen party stands for.

Essentially, least in this country, The Party System is fucked up one way or another, regardless of who has the ball in their court.

What kind of mod are you who insults 99% of your community? LOL

When I piss in a urinal I try to time my flush so it ends just as I do. It's not as easy as it sounds.

This might be the greatest game ever.

Good points.

That defines the left to a T.

I know it's cool to say both parties are a joke but recently conservatives have actually started to get their shit together. I think this massive big Government push by those who want to redistribute 1 trillion dollars a year over the next 4 years has been a wake up call and lit a fire under their asses.

....All great points. Actually I think one challenge in American politics is that there isn't enough political DIVERSITY. It's an either or scenario. There's much more room for political diversity on the continent. The problem with a two party system is that after a while both parties start looking like one another. Or worse, they become run by the extremists in the party.

BTW, hope you like my Avatar Lazy, lol.... can you say conservative and feminism all in one go, lol

The problem with "Diversity" in most political systems outside the US is that the groups who didn't win can many times overpower the one who did (In the case of Canada last year where the 2 parties in the minority nearly were able to hold a brand new election due to the fact their parties didn't win.)

I'd consider myself moderate, I think both democrats and republicans have good ideas but neither one has all the solutions. What I really hate about our politics is the hypocrisy and ideological purists who think that their party is the only answer and will blindly echo whatever the party leaders say. If I was god, I'd get rid of the Glenn Beck's and Micheal Moore's of the world.

You'd only be correct in the sense that there's an oversaturation of leftism. Yeah, we need more diversity - only on the right. There's hardly any variety or modification beyond the average center-right candidates.

It's a shame a lot of people still hate her more than Blair, sure she might have destroyed a lot of communities here, but Blair did a much better job destroying lives worldwide.

As for feminism, Maggie Thatcher had bigger balls than most male leaders.

Disagree with her ideology, but gotta respect her leadership skills... a bit like Hitler.
