The only way to salvage this thread and save yourself the banhammer is to make an apology thread with proper boobs, ask for forgiveness and a chance to start over and then to let this thread die and focus your attention on the new one and rebuilding your rep with this forum.

I find it funny you are wanting to trade this skill set in particular for a skill set in IM.
In my opinion, pick up & IM are extremely similar. It's important to understand the fundamental basics, but at the end of the day the only thing that is going to make you improve is testing and then analyzing what you did wrong (or right) and how you could improve your tactics/game in the future.
To me it sounds like you have a pretty basic fundamental understanding of how the internet, inter linking and on page SEO works. Now it's time for you to actually DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING.
If you have a student and he refused to go out into the field and test for himself, what would you say to him? Now take that advice and use it for IM.

No, I'm pretty confident I'm beyond fucked at this point, but I do appreciate the sincere words in attempts to rescue me.
