My SESscout Review/Experience...This is the TRUTH

I'm a monthly paying member and like the service. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to keep track of their rank. Really good service, I login several times a day

Yes. If anybody is going to keep the civility, at the very least it should be the owner of the business. People somehow think that because they are on the internet they can say whatever they want without negative consequences. Karma, bruh!

It was a joke, bro. Mostly.

Well it's not official, but I actually still have an old tracking service for the domains that have been tracking for years, (one I had programmed for me like SEScout from rentacoder, to run on my own host) and it is tracking bing and yahoo together very closely.

On a typical domain I'll see the exact same placement for 4 out of 5 days with the two, and the day that's off will only be 1 or two spots off. -I have no idea why this is so but it always snaps back the next day.

Interesting. I routinely see differences of 50-100 spots but maybe that's just me getting results from un-synched datacenters.

On topic, I'm not a SeScout user (signed up for a free beta version way back when but it was so clunky compared to my other trackers that I literally logged in once, maybe twice) but the screenshots I see from my friends look pretty dope. Especially the indexed links/ranking mashups.

Hourly tracking would make my head explode the way the SERPs jump around now tho, daily is stressful enough in the current climate.

Hourly updates is a very nice feature to have if you're running a new link building campaign and want to see any progress. For instance, taking a new/old keyword that has had no change, because it's either not ranked or has been firmly cemented in a specific spot due to competition, you can see almost immediately if what you're doing has affected anything and adapt accordingly.

I'll agree that it can really freak you out if you sit and watch the changes all day.

I just like the ability to log in and check how my sites are doing and see the trends without having to remember to run the rank checks myself. I'll do that on average about once a week for all sites, then monitor those keywords which I'm focusing on to see if there's any movement. If there is movement, then I'll stop watching for a week.

Also, the Notifo iPhone app pushes for rank changes is awesome. You don't even have to be logged in to do the above with it. It just sends you out an update when there's movement based on your criteria.
