Right, only 160-200 Million dead removes what, about 55-75% of the population? so That meat is gonna go a lot longer IF you're a survivor in an area that suffers a high initial kill rate. Of course, thousands of putrefying bodies is gonna create a whole slew of new problems.

Long term food storage with no electricity is a much bigger problem than most people realize.
@blokblok, 100 bullets per gun is retarded, sell some guns and by some more ammo. Salt and bullets will be the currency of choice for survivors when/if shit goes down.
I know he alone has at least 1k 7.62x39 rounds (AK ammo) and at least that in 5.56/.223 (AR15) plus the few hundred I have. So I may be underestimating the total amount.

Unfortunately it's all worthless if the power goes out - like it would if any real shit went down.
That is because the vast majority of their weapons fire is suppression fire to keep the enemy heads down.. The kill rate is significantly higher when you have a well trained man with a rifle and a scope shooting at people trying to sneak across acres of open fields..
I agree, if you aren't prepared before it happens you are pretty much screwed.. I happen to be doing this for entirely different reasons because I don't believe a zombie apocolypse scenario is coming.. We are doing it simply because my wife enjoys it.. Being able to survive the zombies is just a perk..
It'd never work, you're constant screaming of "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" would alert any potential meals.

Believe it or not , the loop system takes very little power to drive, so it could be run all day long on a rather cheap solar setup with a small battery backup.
I'm not too big on the idea for the end of the world, but after seeing what people have done with talapia and hybrid crayfish that get as large as lobsters, it's a really cool thing.
Everyone in this thread would be dead. I would feast upon your flesh and shoot anyone who came within 50 yards of me.
- Secure lake, stream, crops first
- Setup bunker in central location
- Setup traps and cameras in key spots
- Setup power source along with satellite communications/Internet access
- Haul bodies into freezers in your bunker for later when caught in traps
- If resources deplete, cook body
- Enjoy a comfortable existence while you make monies online while waiting for your time to take power

I agree with you here.... as weird as it sounds, the higher north you get the easier it is to live. Less people, more game, huge forests, lots of lakes, plenty of natural resources.
I have about 8 months worth of food storage right now. I've also been stockpiling ammo, fishing supplies, water purifiers, etc. It's also important to learn skills such as how to grow food or build traps, etc. Mostly i do it cause it's fun to learn survival techniques.
Also i have a diesel truck that's converted to run on used vegetable oil, so after everyone else runs out of gas, i still have about 500 gallons of vegetable oil to run on, mow down chinese invaders or zombies.
My biggest advice is to stockpile some food. It's not very hard to do, not very expensive, and you'd be suprised at the piece of mind it gives you.
I'm gonna setup a stand and barter gold and bjs for maps to locations of all the survival nuts and their stock piles of stuff.
I doubt China could even invade America. The only way to invade America is to invade it over 4 generations. Slowly get your operatives into position by acting all innocent in America, set up a business even, contribute to the beautiful American dream.
But when the time comes, and their will be a time that comes. You are Chinese and you have slowly manouevered youself into the Heart of America like a Trojan horse. The war is already over. China pwn.
But in the "how to survive a Chinese Man about to sever your neck" manual, it says that you need to be skinny and smart. It also says that you need to adapt to this situation faster than a borg on crack. Become good with a weapon and even better with your wits. No loyalties. No friends. Anyone and everyone connected with the beautiful war will divide.
You cannot survive this while playing X-box. They are good like that.
