I'm not a huge poster, but I wanna get your opinion:

I graduated undergrad business school in May of this year. I've been in the CPA affiliate space for several years and always had ambitions. I graduated summa cum laude from my college and couldn't wait for the future.

I was teetering between doing affiliate marketing or getting a full time job; I decided to become employed full time for People Media in the summer (they own blackpeoplemeet, senior people meet, bbpeople meet, etc)

One day at work, I started feeling a weird onset (light headed, confused, etc) and panicked. I ran to the bathroom and shook it off; this episode was about 6 weeks ago. Ever since then, I've never felt the same.

I feel very depersonalized, detached, and out of it; the best way to describe: I feel like I'm in some continuing dream. I have a hard time grasping what 'normal' even feels like anymore, or if life is real.

Have any of you experienced these weird thoughts? Any anxiety, panics, or spacy feelings?

I read this thread all the time and want to feel normal again; any advice or similar experiences?

Not to long ago I kept getting these weird out of body sensations whenever I would go outside. I would be perfectly fine inside, take 20 steps outside and all of a sudden felt like I was in a dream. Not sure what caused it, but I kind of liked it. It was really weird, but it felt like I was experiencing life in third person.

Anyone ever have this happen to them? I was on some adderall for about 2 weeks when all of this was going on (actually now that I think about it, this started happening when I stopped taking it). Anyone who takes adderall, is this a normal side effect when you stop taking it?

If it made you realize you don't belong there, that might've been your most important moment in life

Using any stimulants? This your first time living on your own/without any structure to go by? Could be a ton of shit. Sounds like you had a panic attack.

Never any stimulants.

I smoked a ton of bud back in highschool (age 16-20).
My friend saw a psyc, and he said alot of kids are coming to him with crazy thoughts, panics, etc.
He said the weed in San Francisco is too potent lol. I'm thinking that did permanent damage.

I felt completely in control and in tune w/ reality until 6 weeks ago.

Odd thoughts: "how do you know you're not dreaming right now" "what exactly is reality?" "what would it be like if you were never born"

Weirrrd stuff lol

Isolation can do crazy shit to your mind. Make sure you're getting physical exercise, and go volunteer somewhere. Habitat for Humanity, soup kitchen, whatever.

Its a glitch in the matrix, your mind is struggling to accept a reality where a site called Black People Meet is OK but if you created a site called White People Meet you would be guilty of a hate crime.

Ehh. I work, go out to dinners. Just kinda feel like this is all one big dream or movie.

I used to. Tried everything to get right again but nothing seemed to work. Then one day I cut off part of my left ear and gave it to a prostitute named Rachel. Everything has been copasetic since.

It sounds like depersonalization/derealization. I have it for 6 years now and it's fucking hell on earth. It started suddenly and I'm not the same person ever since.
The trigger was that weed probably.
No cure was found yet. The doctors can't even understand when you try to explain it to them.
If you have it, then good luck bro. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
