I have been around long enough to see Jon make offers that too few stepped up to join in on - whether out of fear or ??? - not quite sure.

Pretty neat ideas really, there's so much talent that's participated in this site it isn't funny, I can't think of a single website that's been around that has helped build so many millionaires and extraordinarily interesting businesses.
I read it twice today. It sounds interesting. Whether or not there is a place for this particlular alter ego is debatable though, so I may have to start logging in with my proper account.
The forum's dead. People have already admitted they don't login for months at a time due to the password reset feature. You think they're about to start flipping out their credit cards? They can't even be bothered to reset their password in order to post, so I doubt they're going to fire off funds to Jon.
I'll pay just for shits & giggles, but I wouldn't expect an influx of creative and innovative minds to begin showing up at the door once it's closed off and a paid only forum.

I don't personally believe closing the forum off to the public and turning into a paid only forum will have the desired effect in membership momentum that you seek. I believe it will only further alienate the membership, and will become the beginning of the end for this forum.
The membership has already voiced their opinion that they've become increasingly agitated due to the simple password reset feature, so expecting them to pay I believe is short sighted.

I don't think Jon is expecting 1000 millionaires to show up here overnight and start sharing their secrets. It sounds like Jon is going to start teachin', educatin' and generally dropping knowledge all over this place himself. Knowledge that he developed on his own over the years.... hence the reason he is going to charge for it (and he should).
Naturally when this kind of knowledge is being dropped then more and more knowledge will come out. I think that was his original goal with WF, hell WF used to be that in a sense but then all these fucking muppets showed up and no one wants to share their golden goose with a bunch of fucking copy cat muppets. So the forum stagnates. Hence the second coming of Jon to smite the serpent and return WF to it's former glory.
