I can confidently say that Wickedfire is almost solely responsible for the (limited) success I've had, so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Popped back over here just yesterday for the first time in months, and I'm glad I did. Sounds like an exciting time for Wickedfire.

Ditto; all the half way decent things I've learned are through being on here and through some of wickedfire's fantastic members, some of whom very rarely post anymore. Maybe this will bring a lot of them back.

I have to admit that I'm curious on Jon's thoughts about what the barrier(s) for entry will be.

Wickedfire definitely sparked my entrepreneurial spirit, and gave me the inspiration to just start building instead of over thinking everything. I really hope this rejuvenates the forum and brings some of the old members back.

Every community with an open-door policy attracts riffraff. The more popular the community, the more riffraff it attracts.

Part of what has made Wickefire awesome though has been the riffraff, the fakes, the crazies, the drama. It was also the fuck you, you are shit, hard attitude. The if you can't take our shit you should go to DP and guru post for thanks with the rest of morons.

Maybe we where all just much more immature. I don't know.

Nice to see some faces back again. I guess all I can say is, dicks out boys.

I'm just glad Jon is back and giving his love to this forum again.

It would be interesting to see how this turns out. Whether I get invited or not, I appreciate WF being part of my life for the past 7 years.

I guess change is inevitable in life, IF you are actually living. It is interesting to read about your development and I do believe that more purpose and "doing good" can't hurt. If not for seeing things from different perspectives. I fear to become stuck up in my ways someday. Because, it will mean complete death. In the past i was very anti-capitalistic, but now i see the value in accumulating capital as a means for personal growth and for making the world a better place. It isn't the only way for sure, but the less tense we make things the better, i think. I believe a basic level of respect and reciprocity goes a long way in life, no matter what you believe in personally. In the end, nothing is as black and white as we want it to be. More complicated, but also more beautiful as imagined.

I think the changes coming might help to revitalize WF - good luck with it.

I made a thread here about LSD one day, would I bother now that I know reddit.com/r/LSD exists? nope

Why? Every group of people has a different viewpoint on things. To me it was very refreshing to acknowledge the sheer number of people who have taken or are taking psychedelics. I wouldn't have imagined.

BlastyoAss

This motherfucker. Bedarded. Shit like that is what makes this forum great. Can't forget that Chris Lyle (?) bullshit either. Hell, been so long not sure if that is 100% correct.

Looking forward to see what Jon will do.

ahh I havent been here in a while, but after a little of being back and lurking. I think this forum would do well being a paid one. Those of you who know me, know ive been around this industry since 07-08, and boy has it changed. Im a pretty firm believer that aff marketing is 100% not the way of the future, or real wealth building, and am more than excited to see where some other people see marketing in the digital space going.

I like Jon and I like this forum.

But I don't feel there's enough REAL value being offered here anymore to justify a paid membership.

Sure, the banter, trolling, and debating is hilarious and entertaining. But I don't see people dropping knowledge-bombs or sharing innovative business strategies like they used to.

The best stuff has already been posted. And the most relevant stuff is being shared elsewhere.

I'm willing to bet people, including Jon, will open up about their businesses once the forum goes private. Nobody wants to discuss their methods and models when the forum is so public.

Also I think Jon made it pretty clear that the new WF won't be about SEO and Affiliate Marketing. It'll go way beyond that.

If you gained any kind of advantage through WF during its free years, I think you shouldn't think twice about dropping in an application and paying your membership fees.
