If only people spent less time bitching about how others are making money and more time making money themselves, they'd all be better off.

...Oh wait a minute, then there would be no Wicked Fire. I take it back.

I wouldn't criticize his service too much unless you have actually tried it. I have not, and will reserve comment until I do....if I do.

On the other hand I can criticize YOUR service since I did try it. I got less links and less press then If I had written the damn press release myself and submitted it myself using PRweb. Out of every wickedfire members' services I have tried yours was by far the worst. Don't act like your shit don't stink.

Props to every single person here trying to make money.

Oh is that right? Which press release was yours smartass?

Alright guys....stop the wining....pm me and I will let you know my paypal address so you can send me monthly instalments of $500. For that I guarantee insightful posts once a day such as this one :D. Whatever happens, you will be entertained!

i hope all of you realize that uberaffiliate doesnt even affiliate lol. no one who supposivley makes 300k a month lives in a 200k house without shades dumbasses. he is hired by networks who give him tvs in return for ppl that will join and attempt campaigns. and his daddie who is a dentist bought that shitty house for him.

It's pathetic really. I know, I did this shit long before any of these make money blogs were around. I had a big blog (around 20,000 visitors a day) and had a lot of attention. People would have believed anything I said. However, instead of trying to take their money, I told them I hated the infomercial feel of my site and shut it down.

Great idea, way to give them all the finger. Shutting it down makes perfect sense ...

For some people life is about more than making as much money as you can.

Which is why you offer your full service for free.

c'mon dude, I'm not standing up for someone overcharging for access to his forums here. I'm just calling it like I see it & turning away 600k + visitors per month one of the worst decisions I've heard anywhere.

I'm not sure you are going to find any bleeding hearts that build sites / campaigns for charity at wf. You might be hanging out in the wrong place.

Paul is no different than a late night infomercial or a televangelist telling people they'll get into heaven if they just send in some cash.

Ya because a paid forum with REAL HELP is exactly the same as identical copies of a "make money system".

However, instead of trying to take their money, I told them I hated the infomercial feel of my site and shut it down.

You should become a televangelist, definitely have what it takes.

There are so many problems with ubercamp, I don't even know where to start. Remember that post he made a while back asking people if they would pay $500 for 3 hours of phone time with him? And then he immediately backed down after being flamed to hell and said it was all a joke? I knew exactly what he was doing at that point and it has just taken the form of ubercamp... or is this a big joke too?

Actually I never said it was a joke, I said I was using that poll as a test to see how many people were serious enough to do something like that. I also never said I was going to start up any sort of phone consulting. I didn't back down to anything, I even talked about it on a podcast.

Anyway, it's fucking lame and sad. That's all. If you really want some quality information, go to the fucking library.

You're right, because I'm pretty sure most successful people in business buried themselves in a library every day reading about affiliate marketing...

What do you guys expect from a guy who's only had 1 successful campaign ever and is spinning it like he's a genius uber affiliate who can turn any campaign into gold? We all know 1 campaign doesn't last forever... and he's diversifying his income as a backup plan.

What better way to have guaranteed monthly income than by over-charging noobs?

"Teaching" people how to make money online just comes with a feeling of pimping an infomercial, it doesn't matter what the spin is. It was that feeling that I didn't like. . .not to mention the type of people that flock to that kind of site looking for easy answers.

It might be one of the worst decisions you've ever heard, but that's just what I did. On the day my site was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle I killed it. I personally think it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

But you're right, most of the people on WF aren't going to understand that kind of logic. Not that it matters, as long as everyone is happy.

Anyway, what's my whole point? Well sites like ShoeMoney and UberAffiliate are just new versions of old ways to make money. Like with SMC, some people will make a lot of money, but the majority of people won't.

In the end, the old phrase "A fool and his money are soon parted" sums up everything in a nice little package.

This.

Before it was called affiliate marketing, it was called sales. Every library in America has a huge section of sales related books.

This is the attitude that pisses me off. Trying to pimp "affiliate marketing" like it's some new and exciting way to make millions with limited work!

"Just give me your money and I'll show you how you too can become successful like me! Work side-by-side with a proven millionaire! However, I'm only accepting a limited amount of students to this once in a lifetime program! Not everyone will be approved, but if you think you have what takes, apply today!" *

* Results may vary.

Pop Quiz: Was the pitch above from a late 90's infomercial or a re-worded take on uberbase?
