NOWHERE does it say that anybody will become as successful as me, nowhere does it say it's a once in a lifetime program.

Honestly, you think you're tough because you try to reword what I wrote and make it sound like a shitty eBook or infomercial. Nowhere do I say that I'll step by step teach people affiliate marketing. Read the about page. I say I'll be active in conversations, make tools that would be useful to me, and do case studies. I'll quote myself on the FIRST PAGE :

UberCamp is a mastermind forum for affiliate marketers to brainstorm, communicate, question me, and utilize tools and services like Offer Watch to ultimately make more money from affiliate marketing. My goal is to cut through the crap, answer your questions honestly, give you real information, and truly make it worth every penny you pay.

Where do I say that I'll step by step show them how to make money? Ebooks are filled with glorified testimonials, email submits, "risk free" trials, and "systems". Where do you see that at all?

This is the attitude that pisses me off. Trying to pimp "affiliate marketing" like it's some new and exciting way to make millions with limited work!

"Just give me your money and I'll show you how you too can become successful like me! Work side-by-side with a proven millionaire! However, I'm only accepting a limited amount of students to this once in a lifetime program! Not everyone will be approved, but if you think you have what takes, apply today!" *

* Results may vary.

Pop Quiz: Was the pitch above from a late 90's infomercial or a re-worded take on uberbase?

That was an actual quote [slightly re-worded] from a late 90's infomercial.

Thanks for proving my point though.

Right, and in the context you were using it, you were relating it to UberCamp. You tried to prove a point and failed miserably, or else you were just posting that quote for no reason.

No no... don't back out of it now. You thought I "tried to reword" what you wrote, when in fact I did no such thing. I was merely pointing out the identical nature of both infomercials and ubercamp.

Try again.

Subigo - you've got me curious, what was the name of your blog that you shut down?

20,000 visiotors a day, and you just pulled the plug? lol

It was subnixus.com... there is still a site and domain up, but it's not mine, even though it has my name and picture on it. I sold the domain a long time ago and the guy who bought it made it look like I still run it. I told him to take it down once, but it never happened and I really don't care enough to enforce it.

It was popular from Nov. 05 - Feb. 06... I put out a press release right after I started the blog and it just spread from there.

Again... not proud of anything you may find on archive.org, lol.

"Eric makes $25 per day and hopes to grow it to 5 TIMES that!"

LawLzz.

Props for getting on tv for it tho. If you were intending on growing the old blog, tv coverage is great for attracting more hits.

PAUL

I read every post in your blog. Out of all the forums and blogs out there yours helps me the most with affiliate marketing. The reason for this, is you don't post crap, like everyone else.

However I didn't really expect you to be defending yourself in this thread. It certainly makes you look as low as all the guys talking shit about you.

Come on man your better then that.

Right, how is the nature identical? My post before that disproved that and all you said was "I hit a nerve, point proven."

So I don't get it, I thought People on WF loved Uber Paul, has it now been proven he was full of shit (ie. not making serious bank) ? Certainly doesn't seem like it, in fact, as I recall right here on WF his blog was heavily linked to for great Affiliate resources.

What changed ? Commercialization of something is what these forums are all about so it seems hypocritical that everyone is riding his ass now that he's trying to bank more.

Or is the point that he isn't making as much as he claim doing Affiliate stuff so this is the way he's gonna bank ?

I remember the thread from ages ago where engaged gave him shit for buying a 200k house and having to get a mortgage etc etc (which admittedly did seem odd when he implied he was banking enough to buy outright)....is this the source of the ripping that he's getting now ?

Presumably the easiest way to shut everyone the fuck up would be to have one of the XY7, CPAEmpire and Azoogle reps post, with his permission say he's making greater than $$$ ?

Ok. I'll admit I'm looking forward to nickycakes' post as much as anyone here, and that I rofled a bit when I saw the post. But that said, some of this shit is a bit ridiculous. I don't know paul, and don't know his campaigns aside from the obvious. So I hesitate to fully defend or ostracize him here.
Hardly surprising... the only reason any of these "super affiliates" start a blog with big earnings screenshots is to build their downline and sell to newbs. bait 'em by providing some good information at first and then, suddenly, when your subscriber count is high enough, no more good information and upsell upsell upsell.
Uberaffiliate,Cashtactics,they're all the same.
Ok. Now I never tried to label myself as a "super affiliate" (partially because I hate that term). But I do know at least a bit about blogging, and let me tell you it is a major fucking time drain. Now I love posting, and don't plan on letting it die anytime soon, but that said it's a bit annoying not making jack off something that absorbs time like that does.
I've managed to make an ok amount off mine, but in all honesty if we break it down, it's not exactly a massive payday. So people want to make a buck or two off their blog. Some go overboard. aight.
Deal with it, because they already gave you a fucking lot more information than was "owed" to you.
I don't see what the big deal is.

We're all affiliate marketers, it's in our nature to try and earn more $.

No matter how much "free" information is out there, there will always be people who are willing to spend $ and be spoon fed what to do.

If someone spends $1000 and learns some information that makes him $10,000, was it a bad deal for either side?
Amen. While I personally think $5k is a pretty excessive price, take a look at how many people come here wanting their hand held. In spite of all the free information out here, some people really want that.

Reading back on this post, I feel like a softy. So I'm going to reiterate. Is it a scam? Fuck if I know. The price seems high, and I'll admit it seems like a really odd move for someone who says/is/might be successful in AM. And yes, I rofled a bit at the post when I saw it. I couldn't believe it actually.
But there is definitely a use for such a hand holding service.

Was that the "calling me out" everyone was talking about? I took a mortgage out because paying for a house in cash would severely tighten my cash flow...taking out a mortgage frees it up. Could I pay it off right now? Yeah...but my bank account would take a pretty big hit, and I'm fine keeping that money to invest in other projects that will make more money than the interest I'll pay.

I remember the thread from ages ago where engaged gave him shit for buying a 200k house and having to get a mortgage etc etc (which admittedly did seem odd when he implied he was banking enough to buy outright)....is this the source of the ripping that he's getting now ?

lol I'm not out to prove anything, I'd give permission to any network to reveal the ballpark range what I've made with them. I've done a little over a mil with CX Digital this year, a couple hundred k with Azoogle, a couple hundred k with Copeac and around like 60k with CPA Empire I think. Just off the top of my head...and that's REVENUE, before you douchebags start saying that I only take a 2% margin. I'm too lazy to add up all my accounts and look up profit....or am I just lying again? Hmmmm

I don't know Paul, don't know how much money he makes and don't really care. What he is doing has zero impact on my life. He seems like a decent enough bloke and I wish him the best of luck with his business.

I've promoted e-mail submits, "free" ringtones, "free" credit reports and "free trial" weight loss products so I really don't feel qualified in taking the high moral ground when it comes to making a buck online. I wonder how many others here fall into the same category?
