Any advice on being distracted by females? (how it affects success)

Wave guy here too.

Basically, I find myself in short term relationships that last about as long as it takes the girl to realize that she's NOT my priority and nobody will be for at least 5 years.

When I meet someone and they ask if I have a girlfriend, right away I tell them that my business IS my girlfriend. I tell them that I have 4 servers, any of which go down and they will see me disappear until things are fixed...

They say that they understand, and actually love the ambition, until the choice is made between something work related and them and I actually follow through.

Or I just lose sexual interest and move on or put myself in a self-induced slump (not smart) and go nuts if I don't have a girl within a couple months.

And yeah, once a week jerking off is tough but it works. I'm with a new girl right now (7 years my senior and I'm really enjoying it TBH) though and it's fun as we're kinda in the honeymoon phase.

Yeah, just depends on what you want from life. If you want to grind 18 hours a day than everything is a distraction, including things like sleeping and eating.

Relationships are a part of life. Just like you can see relationship being a distraction to your AM, you can change your mind a bit and see AM being a distraction to the relationship. Find the balance that makes you happy.

Of course, it also depends on a girl. Some of them are higher maintenance and some are lower.

One girl is not a big deal... Wait till you get married and meet the her whole family... Then, down the road you get the kids... Schools... Homeworks... Holidays... Yet, there are a ton of successful people who make it work.

On another note - when you are alone, you are free to do whatever you want (assuming you live on your own). You have a complete freedom. The only problem is that you are still alone. :)

Its not just about jerking off as much as it is to the constant pursuit of getting off, as some of the prior poster's were referring to. It makes no difference if its fucking bitches or your hand. Obsess over either to much and you will be distracted and unfocused don't do it enough and you will have the same problem

Yeah, but what you were saying is that I need to get off otherwise I will obsess over girls and be distracted. But I just go out, meet a girl, fuck her, and it`s done. No obsession necessary. It requires more effort than masturbating, but it`s not difficult. And in the mean time the testosterone fires you up and you get motivated. This is pure truth for success. So much time is wasted in pursuit of pussy when you don't have a constant supply. With a wife or long term gf you can work a ton, then take a fuck break, and then get right back to work. You can't do that with a newly met chick who must be wined and dined. It's not as fun as dating and partying all of the time but it's the sacrifice most have to make for making the monies.

lol. At first I was like WTF, but then I was like - shit, I already do half of these... lol. Babysitting my kids, skipping grind sessions to watch a stupid ass chick flick... On the other hand, watching a chick flick - 1.5 hrs. Making a kick ass dinner - whole day. I thing it's a fair trade... :)

But seriously, I've left my 20's behind and am getting serious about settling down and marrying, I definitely see the advantages of being with one crazy chick that I've halfway figured out. Chasing chicks has cost me alot of time and money in my life.

I have taken a conscious decision to stay away from females and "friends" for the time being as I sort out my shit.

Had a lot of baggage.

And for me finding success in life and living a long happy life where you do not have to worry about your pension or how to pay for your kids education is worth giving up bitches and happy go lucky friends for a few years.

I feel im missing out on a lot of pussy, but im sure that once I get to a point where im quite comfortable (£10K per month) I will start catching up on the last 2-3 years.
