I have notised that a lot of people use AIM/MSN and etc. but don't use skype? Whats up with that?

we all use skype and chat regularly while working at night. It makes the work go by less boringly (if thats a word).

I get frustrated by the same thing. I wish everyone had the same messenger, instead I now have skype (which I prefer), MSN, Google talk, Yahoo messenger, AIM...all because different people use different shit.

While I've not tried Digsby, they've been pretty open and forthcoming about their revenue model and, from what I understand, it's entirely opt in.

I have had my AIM account since 1997. Skype wasn't even started until 2003.

I have a Skype account, but I have rarely had a reason to sign in so far.

I am signed into AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ at almost all times with Pidgin on my computer or BeejiveIM on my BlackBerry.
