Assange Is Fucked



I'm proud he's an Australian... he's rattlin' a few cages. The gov wants us to be passive, sit around watching tv all day, Assange is out there fucking things up.

He really should have attempted to be anonymous though...
 
My only issue w/ him is that it seems more like a vendetta against the US specifically, rather than an effort to expose truth across the board without prejudice. Read something the other day about people defecting from the project because the direction things were heading, wasn't inline with what they had originally set out to do.

Nah, don't you realize that the American government only likes vague concepts of an enemy (Terrorism) or evil masterminds that American policymakers fabricate themselves?

Even if so, fair enough. Right now, the American government supercomplex demands more scrutiny than any other country.

The next leak is supposed to have to do with a large US bank.
 
He's probably at his friend's mansion living the life running off his own server. REMEMBER THAT HE'S A VETERAN HACKER THERE IS NO WAY THEY CAN TRACE HIM UNLESS THEY OUTSMART HIM
 
I think his days are numbered not because he has the vitriol of the US government behind him, but because he has endangered untold lives through the release from non-government entities and is set to release 5G worth of bank documents reputedly from a BoA executive's desktop in early 2011.

Governments may have to adhere to the Geneva Convention, but well-monied entities with a reason to dislike him sure don't.

His best-case scenario is to be caught by Interpol.

Wikileaks down for anyone else? Gov't (or BoA) doing a DOS attack? Or maybe my internet is sucking and I should take off my tin foil hat.

Not working on my end either. What's really astonishing about that is that Wikileaks moved to the Amazon cloud yesterday after being DDoSed repeatedly all weekend.

Sidenote: Whoever owns wikileaks.com could monetize much better than the GoDaddy parked page. I can't begin to imagine how many type-ins that must have gotten in the last 5 days.
