I've been wanting a CTS-V or a BMW M5 for awhile, but promised myself not to buy one until I can easily pay cash for it. For those of you unfamiliar, the -V model of the CTS is a 550+ HP supercharged luxury sedan w/ a 6 speed manual transmission. Fun.
Then the other day, I ran into a company called Hennessey Performance that does a bunch of aftermarket stuff to them, bringing the HP up to 700-800+ depending on what package you have them add on.
Check this video out of a 700HP Cadillac running a mile @ 185mph (top speed is 212, 0-60 in 3.3). You have to watch it w/ volume to fully appreciate. I have a major thing for luxury cars with monster balls, and this is completely bad ass:
