Buddy on Shark Tank next Friday, doing AMA follow-up on Reddit

A buddy of mine had the opportunity to take his product MorningHead to Shark Tank, and the episode airs this coming Friday.

He is also doing a follow-up AMA on Reddit in r/entrepreneur for anyone with questions. I'm just interested to see what his analytics look like afterwords.

Because this gets your hair as wet as if you took a shower, without dripping all over your clothes and counter while only dampening your hair. Some people will pay for that convenience, and many more will just buy it based on impulse.

I mean, it's like a super absorbent maxi-pad for your head. What's not to like?

Personally, coming from someone really lazy, I might not have a towel around to soak, plus I dont want to have a soaked towel laying around. I also have to do this sink method and get water everywhere.

Golden question - would I buy it though? Nah. Didn't feel urged at all to buy it.
 
Cheesy product but if he has decent sales volume I could see Lori taking it for QVC (given she is there that day)
 
This thing is brilliant. I'm buying.

I get the worst fucking helmet head ever after I ride my motorcycle. I mean, my fucking hair is plastered to my fucking skull.
 
I wish I had this in highschool when I had like 4 mins to get ready and catch my bus in the morning. If I didn't have a chance to wash my hair, it would be dandruff city and all the cute boys would ignore me. The freakz loved it tho cos they thought it was cocaine.
 
ITT will be people criticising this product while they complain about Matt Cutts nuking their Adsense site in another thread.

Most inventions are super simple and super simple doesn't mean its dumb. In fact, the simpler the solution, the better it is #occamsrazar.

I personally like the idea even though I take morning showers and have long, luscious hair and don't use any products.

The product looks like it works way better than most As Seen on TV products I've seen (think shakeweight).

[edit] tell your friend/boyfriend I said "congratulations" and I hope he does well on the show. I admire that he took his invention this far.
 
So I heard that despite whatever they say on the show (either taking a deal, not getting a deal, or turning down their offers) they actually all can rescind any offer after the show. Is that true?
 
I believe the producers of the show make some deal with everyone that comes on the show? Kind of similar to what American Idol contestants have..

They used to, but not anymore. Cuban said he was gonna quit the show unless they remove that clause.
