How exactly does one blend something like Kale?
... you just throw it in the blender. :eek7:

Using a juicer means you miss out on all that fibre though, which most people don't get enough of. Smoother bowel movements, lower cholesterolThis.
I had a juicer in the closet still new in the box from years ago and it cost less than 50 bucks. Gets the job done and I would recommend to anyone to get a juicer first over a blender because when you blend it it's much thicker and takes much longer to drink.
So if you are new a make a terrible tasting concoction it would suck ass to have to drink it from a blender. If your brew sucks from a juicer you can just gulp it and get it over with.
Biggest benefit for me is no longer having debilitating hunger after not eating for a few hours when I wake up to the point where I feel physically weak and shaky. Then stuff my body with empty nutrirentless junk and have no energy all day.
tl;dr juicing from a cheap starter juicer is exponentially better than not eating or getting big plates of fruits / veggies period.

Yeah. Same with spinach -- well, bought frozen, and that also takes away the need to put in icecubes. Spinach, kiwis, apples (with skin) and an avocado instead of a banana to give it that smooth and fluffy feel to it, is great.I freeze it first.
Reason #381 I switched to blending. I use a Nutribullet, I literally spend 5 seconds cleaning it - just requires you rinse out the cup. When I had a juicer it was like 10 minutes of prepping (washing/cutting veggies/fruit) and then 5-10 minutes of clean up. With blending you just toss shit in and rinse out the cup when you're done, makes it way more practical.
Fuckkk that.
1. Yes, you absolutely must get use to the taste of eating raw. You don't have to like it but you do have to be able to stomach it. I personally don't like anything sweet in my juice
The real difference is in what you are trying to do and what you prefer. You get more compact nutrients (although less fiber) with juicing. Plus I'm not a fan of lumpy drinks.
There should be no lumps if you use a good blender like a Blendtec or Vitamix. Thicker, yes... lumpy, no. Even small berry seeds are often pulverized in my Blendtec.
apart from garlic, jesus christ i hate that shit
I bought a juicer last week and the first day I made a fruit/vegetable potion. It had plums, peaches, apples, carrots, and some kiwis. I drank a tall glass and later at night it felt like I was high almost, my brain was floating, it was very cool.
