Anyone going to see it? I'm not reading reviews (I never do for movies I'm planning to see regardless) but I'm completely stoked! This is a nostalgic moment for me. I LOVED the original. It came out when I was around 5 (I think) and I've seen it hundreds of times since then. I even had a Medusa book bag (which now that I think about it, is incredibly odd).

So anyway, we plan on seeing it tonight. RELEASE THE KRACKEN!

wanted to go last night but the giggletwig kept me at home. me and the lady and trying to go tonight...

ThE KRAKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it out already?!!! Def. going to see this. Loved the original as well. In fact, Itattood the medusa scene on my back when I was 18:

Hey if you are planning to watch 3D version then i must say you should reconsider your decision....2D version is good enough...you can use the money you save on the tickets to buy some coke and popcorn....am not kidding :-)

If you enjoy/appreciate cinema, this isn't a good movie from what I've heard.

If you enjoy cinema, always follow screenwriters and directors (rather than actors, action, trailers, etc.). IMDBing their resumes is helpful.

Clint Eastwood = yes

Michael Bay = no

Paul Thomas Anderson = yes

McG = no

Christopher Nolan = yes

Louis Leterrier (Clash Of The Titans) = no

It was nasty. The 3d aspect made it extra nasty. Barely anything was 3d and all it did was hurt my eyes.

Gonna go see it tomorrow. Will be insanely difficult to get tix for 3D in Vancouver

Movie Talk: Critics Clash Over Value of 'Titans' 3D

For me as well.
Just picked up 2 tix for the Movie Tavern tonight for myself and the wifey.

I think I remember that theater...it's the one that serves beer right? We should go the extra 20 miles here to the one that does that. It's always more fun.

@Supernova...I don't see why a person can't like both (I know I do) as long as your clear going into it which type it is.

Oh and I'm not a 3D fan, I find the glasses make the movie too dark. So then I take them off because it's brighter that way but then I can't see the fuzzy movie.

Just came back from seeing it with my girl. All I'm going to say is that it didn't match the hype it received. Just another mediocre movie.

Spoiler:

The dragon didn't do shit in the movie.
