Fox News Lies Again...

You mean from the same geniuses who think the earth is 6000 years old?

So ... all of my life I've lived in the south and have had an awful taste for the bible thumping christian hypocrites.

Over the past week, you pompous atheists have shown me that there is no such thing as logical arguments when it comes to this topic. You used to have that going for you but your constant bashing have changed my mind. You should have stuck to your guns because you're now officially more annoying than the people I detest most in life.

I honestly didn't think that was possible .. enjoy spending the rest of your life standing on a soapbox screaming at the top of your lungs wondering why everyone else just isn't as smart as you.

LOL. Sure, I guess a lot of not-that-smart and uneducated people like her.

Welcome to America .. the genius nation that elected Obama. And your "uneducated" comment represents the other 1/2.

I'm so...so... sorry about your local bible humping population.

If we have shown you that there are no logical arguments in atheism then logically....your an idiot. I mean we try as fucking hard as we can to be logical when debating with theists (which we never start, seriously...). There is simply no logical argument that theists will fit into their brains. Like square pegs into... you get it.

And what do you mean we should have stuck to our guns?

:2gunsfiring_v1: THEIST DEBATE SKILLS

:angrysoapbox_sml: Why the fuck isn't everyone as smart as me (atheists)?!?! (you saw this one coming)

If we have shown you that there are no logical arguments in atheism then logically....your an idiot.

And you're in need of some English lessons.

I don't have a problem with logical arguments, those are your strong points but when someone doesn't agree you resort to smearing instead of a counter argument. The problem is you're doing this to a population of people (I'm speaking WF here) that does not preach fire and brimstone to you ... you're just as fucking annoying as the door to door JWs.

Go join a christian forum, you'll have much more fun.

Totally not true on all accounts for this new breed of atheists that have shown up lately. Some of the older threads were great, lately you're just pointing fingers & name calling. There is no intelligence in your debating style, you are giving atheists a bad name.

And what do you mean we should have stuck to our guns?

Logic ... you're preaching to the choir (pun intended) when all you do is take cheap shots like "religious fanatics". We hate those people too.

Hell yeah dude.

Guess what religion she is.... Pente-fucking-costal. (I don't know if she's the snake handling type or not, probably not, but that would be awesome)

Let's face it the right wing is facing an intellectual crisis.

If she is pentecostal she is a really lax kind. Pentecostals wear skirts not pants, do not wear makeup, jewelry, do not cut their hair, do not watch TV much less appear on it etc.

As far as Obama being transparent, you may want to stay off the huffington post. Obama claims he has saved OR created jobs ( a fact that can not be proven by any statistics) and it is really hard to hear him spew that statistic when the unemployment is the highest it has been since 1945. He justs stated today that he has cut taxes for 95% of the people. Do not know why the sheeple believe this. How or what has he done to cut taxes? Everything I have seen has raised taxes. He will let the bush tax cuts expire ( raise everyones taxes by 1100 a yr ) but claims he want be raising taxes, just letting a previous admins cuts expire.

Cash for clunkers was a failure, cost us 2-3 billion dollars to stop 2.5hrs of emissions. At that rate it would cost the taxpayers 35 billion dollars of taxpayer money to reverse/stop 24hrs of so called global warming gases. Kind of irrelevant.

Great teleprompter reader, Yes. Transparent, NO

And you're in need of some English lessons.

It was a typo. Holy shit. One word, typo. I know the difference between your and you're. Childish. English lesson over.

I don't have a problem with logical arguments, those are your strong points but when someone doesn't agree you resort to smearing instead of a counter argument.

I usually always counter. Sometimes, I'll add a smear for good measure. Point to a place where I don't counter and instead go directly to smear mode. (There's probably a few, but they aren't the majority.) Sometimes, something may be so far-fetched I do, however, just resort to a smear right off the bat.

The problem is you're doing this to a population of people (I'm speaking WF here) that does not preach fire and brimstone to you ... you're just as fucking annoying as the door to door JWs.

If the JW's are coming to my door there's a debate.

Are you even talking about this thread though or my atheist music thread? I mean...they don't even have to enter the atheist thread. They can just stay out, simple. I only apply dashes of atheism into this thread when it's relevant. The only thing I post in my atheist thread is music (that you can choose not to listen to) and responses to theists that choose, on their own, to debate me. Other than that I just post music in that thread. (<--which is now dwindling)

Go join a christian forum, you'll have much more fun.

I need to join an atheist forum if anything, this is just too exhausting... (I plan to simmer it down, however... I don't know when though)

Well look up what "new atheists" are, you'll understand... But, seriously, I believe we (me and the other atheists in the atheist music thread and elsewhere, lately) have debated logically, I dunno....

Logic ... you're preaching to the choir (pun intended) when all you do is take cheap shots like "religious fanatics". We hate those people too.

Preaching to the choir is how you get the choir to sing....

Yeah, everyone, hates religious fanatics, I agree. But, moderate religious folk provide the petri dishes these fanatics grow in. This is Sam Harris' forte'.
The Problem with Religious Moderates

"We can no longer afford the luxury of political correctness. When religion causes violence, its root claims must be challenged. "

Bottom Line - Religious beliefs are silly and more importantly...dangerous and they need to be challenged...

The Obamaites are something else...

For a president that ran on a platform of transparency, he gets a grade of FAIL!

Whatever happened to the health care debate being on cspan?

Anyone see this guys birth certificate yet?

Who are all these czars and what do they do?

He is doing nothing except for pushing an agenda like no other president in history has done. The worst part is that he does so through fear and secrecy...Well, those things and manipulated statistics.

He can't even get all the Democrats to jump on the health care bandwagon and after the results in Jersey and Virginia, he will be even harder pressed to do it now.

The man supports a socialist agenda, which is not what the country was founded on and is only popular with the bottom feeding population that inhabits the country. Why not clear out a big ass state like Louisiana, call it loserville and let the Obamaites move there?

All I can say is, he better get his shit together and ram the rest of his stuff through, because i seriously doubt he will be elected to a second term.

Basically, the man is an ass clown.

This whole circle jerk is getting rather pointless.

Yeah, it is pointless. I've wasted way too much time here lately. I've never spent as many hours on WF as I have in the last week, ever.

@UnripeArbiter: Take the advice above, I have seen your post count increase by 150 this week. Not that I should even care and I do enjoy the debates but I feel compelled as a peer to wake you up to the fact that you just might be costing yourself come coin.

My monies do deserve more of my attention, you're right. I have gone completely unhinged lately, lol. :ticking:

Right, those same parents that are out working while the state is busy indoctrinating students from birth till they're spit out as college-educated Marxists. Parental influence is gone, dude.

And that's a brilliant idea. Hand out condoms while simultaneously telling them not to use them until their wedding day. You're quick to pump out anti-abstinence facts(which I would add are highly suspect), while at the same time suspiciously quiet on sex-'ed' effects. Shouldn't you be shouting its successes from the rooftops? Where are the stats on its' effectiveness? Quit the moral equivocating and make a decision. It's an either/or.

Uhhh? No, it isn't an either/or, and you're an idiot for thinking it is. Parental influence is not gone, first off, and second off, it would be taught like this:

"Though the only true way to 100% guarantee you will not get pregnant or get an STD is abstinence, there are other methods to protect you as well, but they aren't a sure thing", then list the methods, and give statistics.

Or don't teach it at all. It's completely unrealistic to think the majority of teenagers are going to listen to this abstinence only diatribe. Sarah Palin's own daughter sure didn't.

you pompous atheists

Umm I never said I was an atheist. I just criticized people who think the Earth is 6,000 years old. Or do you not realize that the vast majority of Christians in this world are not evangelicals? Most believe in the scientific theories of Earth's creation. Nutbars who take the bible literally are a small minority, and basically an american phenomenon.

She's the lax kind I suppose.

As far as Obama being transparent, you may want to stay off the huffington post.

Maybe, he isn't transparent. I'm not really concerned. I do trust the man I voted for. (I know that sounds sooo sheeple) It's only an issue if you don't trust him, so there isn't any point in arguing the point with me, really. Also, check out recovery.org for a great example of the administration's 21st century transparency.

I don't know the details, but was Cash for Clunkers' sole purpose for the environment? Wasn't it to save Detroit also? (It may have failed miserably in this too, I dunno.)

As for the environment... a quick wiki check revealed this positive fact. "The Department of Transportation also reported that the average fuel-effiency of trade-ins was 15.8 mpg compared to 24.9 mpg for the new cars purchased to replace them, translating to a 58% fuel efficiency improvement."

Praxus,

Where are you getting your statistics?
This is a poll done and reported in the Washington Post :
"
The study detailed Americans' deep and broad religiosity, finding that 92 percent believe in God or a universal spirit -- including one in five of those who call themselves atheists. More than half of Americans polled pray at least once a day.
But Americans aren't rigid about their beliefs. Most of those studied -- even many of the most religiously conservative -- have a remarkably nonexclusive attitude toward other faiths. Seventy percent of those affiliated with a religion believe that many religions can lead to eternal salvation. And only about one-quarter of those surveyed believe there is only one way to interpret their religion's teachings."

I would beg to differ that the majority of people that belive in God would also believe in Darwinism. Those who believe in Darwinism would not be christians considering they are at the opposite sides of the spectrum.

Well I guess it was to help Detroit although the issue was to increase gas mileage on vehicles to lower carbon emmisions but it benefited Toyota, Hyundai, Honda and others not made in Detroit as well. I may be off a little but I read in Forbes that 1/5 who took advantage of CfC Program got an F-150 Pickup. And 2/3ds of the people who traded in a truck or SUV got another SUV or Truck.

All I was saying is it was a flop. It created false sentiment in regards to the economy. Smart move on the part of the president to artificially inflate consumer spending to go and tout how things are getting better.

The london times reported that for us to lower the earth temperature one degree we would need to quit using electricity, quit driving for 30 years. All of that for one degree. But I digress, as we want get going on the sham that is global warming:) we will keep it on track.

carry on.

There have been positives with the current administration? Please enlighten me. They haven't done shit yet.

Lots of stuff dude. Here's a few things off the top of my head:

- PASSING HEALTH CARE REFORM (not done yet, but it will pass)
- Ordering closure of Guantanamo
- Ceasing the insane bush interrogation practices
- Lifting restrictions on stem cell research
- Timetable for Iraq withdrawal
- Tens of thousands of new troops to Afghanistan (where we should have been all along)

Whoa dude... Have you taken a closer look at your little list there?

- PASSING HEALTH CARE REFORM (not done yet, but it will pass) - Failure

Now i'll make even more sure I never use peerfly.

Hypothetically speaking, let's say you're running an offer with 'ABC Network' who is paying you $20/conversion. You discover that PeerFly has that same offer DIRECT and is paying $28/conversion for it... and we will pay you weekly for those sales. Are you saying that you wouldn't continue the offer with us because.... because I support this administration?

Just remember, when the tea party protest took place in September, MSNBC and CNN both said there were only a few thousand there, when in fact it was 1-2 MILLION.

Sorry bro, but that is woefully inaccurate. I can't find anything that reflects your claims. All I've ever heard through the media (different outlets) is 'tens of thousands.' Show me sources.

Those weren't failures, those were successes (health care reform still pending). Maybe failures to you since you don't agree with them, but successes to the administration.
