Got A DUI & I've Been Sober For 2 years

Sure, and my attorney called me a dumbass directly. It wasn't about money, it was about vengeance, and I got all I could eat. :) Shit the other cop had to move to another state after his wife left him just to get another job. The "lead" detective was washing my wheels. No amount of money can buy that kind of happiness.

With that said the police department here has had a long history of harassing me for various things they thought I was doing, or suspected I was doing. After that case I can't even get a speeding ticket in this town for doing 80 in a 60. True story.

"I caught you doing 80 in a 60, is there a reason for that?"

"No, just in a hurry"

"License and registration please"

"ok"

Goes to his car .... comes back....

"Have a nice day, please slow it down"

"Thanks officer"

<traction control off> spin tires throwing rocks at the cop car as I proceed to re-merge onto the freeway. My name is in their system under "Do not fuck with" somewhere now I'm sure of it.

people ask me what I want to be when I grow up. I tell them I want to be cheshire from WF.

Since this is Wickedfire and all is there anyway I can profit from this?

I think that was already laid out for you.

Step 1. Goto basketball game
Step 2. find known drug dealer you don't really know and sit next to them
Step 3. ask said drug dealer to scoot over
Step 4. get harassed by cops
Step 5. sue for $750k

Lawyer up bitch. A Good DUI Defense lawyer in AZ knows the ins and outs not only to prove your innocence, but to bend over the other side. Don't be fucking cheap on this one. A good lawyer pays for himself many times over. (Which is why for non criminal stuff I use Aaron Kelly btw)

+1 for Aaron.

Get a good lawyer. Also think about filing a police report about the officer if you felt abused or definitely write a nice long letter about your experience to the mayor and chief of police. This will def help your case and could lead to the officer getting some repercussion or at least a warning. Make sure to write any facts in your letter about the corruption of other reported police officers.

Ugh Cops. Lets all share our oppressive cop stories!

I have been removed from my car in the rain, by force by 2 detectives in my town for sitting next to a "known cocaine dealer" at a highschool basketball game and "conversing" with him. Because we all know when I ask someone to scoot over on the bleachers a little so I can sit next to my girlfriend that I'm having a conversation. Then they proceeded to intimidate and harass my girlfriend into admitting that I deal cocaine and that I was at that basketball game to buy coke. After leaving my car doors open in a rain storm ruining my leather seats, and tearing everything out of my trunk, and damaging the dashboard/console they left me there in the rain. Soaking wet with a damaged car. To add insult to injury one of the cops handed my girlfriend a card and said "If you ever want to talk, just call me."

Fortunately that was his mistake, as we both sued the Police department. In lieu of monetary compensation for the damages to my vehicle, police harassment, police brutality (had bruises on my arm where they man-handled me) and other charges I brought against them I requested that the officers in question be fired and that their Texas law enforcement certifications be removed and that they not be allowed to practice law enforcement in the state of Texas for 15 years. Judge granted it. Guess he didn't want to cough up the $750k I was in damages I was looking for.

Two months later I see one of the 2 detectives working at the car wash I go to, scrubbing my rims just like the immigrants. I made sure to tell him about all the spots he missed then get his manager over and tell him that his employee was very combative when I corrected him on his horrible work. Justice served.

Get a lawyer bro, and a really good one. Take these fuckers and that asshole cop to the cleaners and when its all over be sure to tell them you don't want money. You want this "10 year veteran" shit-canned and working at the Mc Donald's drive through. Because he's not fit to "serve and protect" the fine citizens of Arizona.
That was an EPIC story...

How did you prove the physical abuse, was anything on tape?

Growing up as a kid in Detroit, I got roughed up (all-out beaten badly once) quite a few times just because of the neighborhood I lived in. Oh and I'm black and 6'5" soooo....

You don't know how many times I've heard "You fit the description", random stop because "We have reports of gunshots in the area" and once even got pulled over because "Your air freshener hanging from the mirror is a safety hazard", another time car and bags fully searched by State Police because of "out-of-town plates" even though MOST rental cars from the Airport he was sitting outside of have out-of-town plates (I was road-tripping it to Chicago). I let them search because they were only going to hold me up longer to call for the dogs, I just wanted to get on with my trip.

I have met a couple cool cops though, even the cop who got called in for BACKUP (backup for what? I never even questioned the guy for wanting to search me) when my car was being searched for NO REASON, was really nice. He seemed embarrassed to have to backup the idiot who was so determined to find something on me, he made conversation and was really friendly.

I literally remember every cop that didn't treat me like a criminal from the minute they saw me. Once when I was 19, I was speeding, going about 58 in a 45 mph area and the dude let me slide and gave me a warning!

I was like "Whaaaaaaa????????" Lol.

So I don't hate cops, just the power hungry IDIOT type. Some are just normal guys and gals, some I hate with the intensity of 3 suns.

No they were "undercover" detectives, so no dash cams. Basically when I got home I took photos of everything. Took my photos to the Police department and filed a report, then contacted my attorney. The police officer admitted to forcibly removing me form the vehicle, and it was obvious the bruises were shaped like fingers on my arm. Since my girlfriend was there she gave a statement as a witness as well.

That sucks dude. I always refuse a search, and request that they bring the K-9 unit in. I calmly explain that after they're done wasting everyones time, my tax dollars, and they come up empty handed my Attorney will be in touch. Usually it ends right there and I'm sent on my way. Only once has a cop called my bluff and I got a formal written apology from him after a nice phone call to his Supervisor. Police have been riding my dick since I was 16 though so I learned my rights fast. I always drove really nice cars and assumed that was the problem. I'm not black so I know it wasn't a "driving while black" incident.

I'm not saying all cops are dicks, in fact Texas State Troopers are some of the most professional, even tempered police officers I've met. Yeah they're dicks because they don't let anything slide but I'd rather be charged with shit I did instead of them making up stuff. Typically very courteous and professional, and that I appreciate even if they are writing me a ticket. Just do you fucking job and let us go about our lives. The problem is their promotions are based on tickets, arrests and convictions so every traffic cop has a hard on to make the next big bust. Most hate doing traffic and will kick you in the balls just to make Detective or Lieutenant. Can't say I blame them but their success in their job shouldn't be based on how many lives they ruin.

I've had some "nice" cops as well, the problem is the other 95% that treat me like some sort of common street thug because their 70 IQ gave them a "hunch" that I was doing something wrong. Most people bow to Police pressure, but I refuse. Police havent quite gotten the "policing by consent" part of their job.

So I don't hate cops, just the power hungry IDIOT type. Some are just normal guys and gals, some I hate with the intensity of 3 suns.

I don't hate cops, I just don't trust them. I only give them exactly what they need to do their job and nothing more. If you wanna violate my rights you better have a damn good reason, and I better damn well be doing something illegal.

well if youre clean you have nothing to worry bout

Tiger, for someone who seems reasonably intelligent from the rest of your posts, you display an astonishing level of naivety when it comes to the authorities.

Here's the thing: Police lie. They fabricate evidence, and they do whatever is necessary to hit their arrest / ticket quotas.

And this isn't just America we're talking about it. I've seen situations far too frequently here in the UK where what they've written up in their little notebook is a LONG way from what actually happened.

That's not to say that ALL police are dishonest. Some are dedicated, even heroic individuals. But enough of them are far more interested in their careers than serving justice that you need to seriously cover you ass if you have any dealings with them.

You were smart bro. Neither I or my parents had money for an attorney and I didn't even know I could lawfully refuse a search until Jay-z came out with "99 Problems" LULZ.... I'm serious. Knowledge is power!

Haha Jay-Z law school. Knowledge is truly power. I figure if even 10% of the people confront cops on everything they do we're all less likely to be harassed. I got a thousand of these stories though, they don't all end so nicely for me, but I got a lot :)

This can't be more true. Believe me that shit is in the system. The guy is going to his car to check up on you in his little faggy computer to find out that the JUDGE and CAPTAIN personally wrote a message on your file saying he WILL SUE YOUR FUCKING ASS AND HAVE YOU FIRED AND WORKING AT A CAR WASH IF YOU FUCK WITH HIM probably just like that too.

They would rather let you go and stop the next guy who will be a complete sucker, roll over and admit to something he didn't do without so much as a fight.

Really. That's why I don't live in places where the cops think they are god's. Cops here are friendly and almost useless. Every man for himself.

I would contact Aaron. In future the day your released get another blood test done somewhere else. Also as suggested WRITE DOWN OR VOICE NOTE everything that you can remember. EVERY detail, what he said from start to finish, how it played out, etc..

You have a VERY strong case here and you SHOULD FIGHT it so they leave you the fuck alone.
