Hydra Layoffs

hundreds of other things? like what?

Assuming you keep the traffic the SAME ... then I say that the advertiser turned on the shaver (not Hydra)

There are plenty of things that could be wrong. You shouldn't automatically jump to the shave issue, but then again if you are thinking that all of the time, for whatever reason, maybe it would be wise to go somewhere else. You would save yourself a lot of headache.

I have never run anything through hydra, as i have heard they shave as well. I don't know for sure, but it gives me an uneasy feeling. So to deal with that i just don't run with them.

From what I've read about Hydra on this forum, I'd never do biz with them in a million years. There are a ton of networks that actually care a lot about affiliates.

With so many issues with Hydra, I have a hunch that hydra will soon de-hydrate...

It's intereting how every post in this thread is opposite to what Mason's saying, wow...

Were you split testing with another offer on another network? Did that offer also have a similar fall in conversion on the second day?

If you didn't do that, there is no way for you to say definitively that Hydra was shaving simply because conversions fell from day 1 to day 2. There are hundreds of other things that could've caused that.

THIS

I like hydra.... never had a problem with them. You guys are taking this thread way too far. My affiliate manager (Leah) at hydra is one of the best in the business. They always paid me on time... and on most offers they convert BETTER then the rest. I remember just 12 months ago... most people would rave about hydra non-stop.... one little thread and everyone goes crazy.

+1
You guys are really taking it too far.
