Grab the .45, let my two doberman out... put the wife in the closet... aim for the head so I don't hit my dogs...call the police and tell them to come pickup the body. Go back to bed and wait for the media to crucify me for being white and defending my house.
Depending on the state you live in, and the situation that you are in, honestly, I would call 911 and wait for the police to arrive, if I do shoot the robber and he lives, he might sue my ass and we will going through the court system for years, and he might win, look at the current cases and the juries, plus you have to think about the race of the robber before you fire your first round, and the consequences of racial issues, even tho it sounds dumb, that shit will play out in court and you will find supporters for the robber who got shot, oh lordy.
There's no way in hell there would be two sides of the story in my house...

I wish he doesn't, but if he has family/relatives/ other shit, it can become a cluster fuck real fast, especially if the media gets hold of this kind of story and fucks it all up
But how many of these horror stories really exist?; the home invader wounded and suing the home owner for wounding him (or her)?
