You want to see a fucked up movie.... Human Centipede 2! :repuke:
Too bad it seems like our Canadian Netflix isn't even close to what you US guys get, fuck!:disgust:

Literally just finished watching Pi.

It was a pretty good movie, following how a mans obsession with sequences and numbers begin to turn him insane. I wouldn't watch it again in a hurry but it was deeper than most movie junk.

"A Siberian Film" probably even more fucked up!

"In this consumer culture parody, professional wrestler "Rowdy" Roddy Piper plays an unemployed working stiff who inadvertently finds a pair of sunglasses that allow him to see the world as it truly is. Billboards carry subliminal messages such as "Submit to Authority," and yuppies are actually aliens who are bent on subduing the human race. Before you can say, "Die, yuppie scum!" Piper grabs a gun and starts blasting."

"Documentarian Marc Singer trains his camera on a group of homeless people who live in an abandoned New York City railroad tunnel. At night, they retreat underground, where they have a sense of community that many surface dwellers would envy."

70114963.jpg

"For over two decades, American arm wrestling champion John Brzenk has traveled the globe looking for someone -- anyone -- who could defeat him, and today, he remains the undefeated and undisputed world arm wrestling king. This film chronicles the aging Brzenk's legendary career, as well as his growing concern over whether to retire at the peak of his game or to take on promising new challengers such as Alexy Voevoda and Travis Bagent."

70115866.jpg

"This entertaining documentary explores the phenomenon of Jack Rebney, who became an Internet sensation after a grainy, nearly 20-year-old video of him furiously swearing up a storm while filming a Winnebago sales video made the rounds online. Traveling to a mountaintop, filmmaker Ben Steinbauer tracks down Rebney -- who's become known in underground circles as the "Angriest Man in the World" -- and tries to discover what makes the loner tick."

"Bruce Willis stars as Lt. A.K. Waters, a Navy SEAL sent to the jungles of embattled Africa to rescue a doctor (Monica Bellucci), arriving only to realize he must also save the refugees in the doctor's care -- even if it places his military career in jeopardy. Tracked by heavily armed guerillas, Waters and his men must guide 40 injured Nigerian patients to the Cameroon border in this epic action drama directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day)."

70040631.jpg

"Geared up for some carousing around town, an ex-soldier (Christian Bale) who's just accepted a job with the DEA cajoles his pal (Freddy Rodriguez) into joining him for a little hell-raising. But when their good times turn to tragedy, the buddies are in for a rude awakening. First-time director David Ayer also penned the script for this gritty drama about the consequences of friendship, set in South Central Los Angeles."

70077528.jpg

"The perfect crime goes horribly wrong for brothers Andy (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Hank (Ethan Hawke) when they botch a robbery of their parents' jewelry store in this wrenching drama from legendary filmmaker Sidney Lumet, who was 82 when he directed the film. Albert Finney and Rosemary Harris co-star as Andy and Hank's unsuspecting parents, with Marisa Tomei appearing as Gina, Andy's unfaithful wife."

60034800.jpg

"Trevor Reznik hasn't slept in a year, and his physical and mental health have eroded. So when cryptic notes pop up in his apartment and he has visions of a co-worker nobody else can see, is it reality -- or just the next level of insomnia?"

70046294.jpg

"A laugh riot from beginning to end, this classic parody from director Mel Brooks stars Gene Wilder as Frederick Frankenstein, who detests his family history but ultimately can't resist the temptation to follow in his infamous grandfather's footsteps. Adding to the fun is a brilliant supporting cast that includes Marty Feldman as bug-eyed assistant Igor, Madeline Kahn as Frankenstein's frosty fiancée and Peter Boyle as the zipper-necked monster."

60001827.jpg

"Criminals Longbaugh (Benicio Del Toro) and Parker (Ryan Phillippe) kidnap a pregnant surrogate mother (Juliette Lewis) for a $15 million ransom from the baby's gangster father in Oscar-winning writer Christopher MacQuarrie's (The Usual Suspects) directorial debut. But as the duo waits in Mexico with the woman in tow, they discover they may be in over their heads. Packed with twists, this actioner features a killer turn by co-star James Caan."

70123024.jpg

"This documentary focuses on two individuals obsessed with 1980s pop star Tiffany: Jeff, a 50-year-old man with Asperger's syndrome, and Kelly, an "intersexual" who claims to have had an inspirational friendship with the singer when they were teens. While others have called Jeff and Kelly stalkers, the film reveals that in their shared world the two outcasts understand that having something -- anything--to believe in is what life is all about."

70044902.jpg

"Based on a New York Times Magazine story, this crime drama starring Kevin Kline delves into a sordid world of international sex trafficking that leads from Mexico City to a New Jersey stash house. In a bid to save kidnapped 13-year-old Adriana (Paulina Gaitan) before she's sold into sexual slavery, her desperate brother (Cesar Ramos) teams with a Texas cop (Kline). Can they find her before she vanishes into a hellish underworld?"

60031291.jpg

"Paid big money by high-tech firms for working on hush-hush projects, computer ace Michael Jennings then has his memory erased for security purposes -- which explains why he can't figure out the reason his most recent employer wants to kill him."

The instantwatcher.com site is really a good thing to find what's on Netflix.

vondoobie will vouch for me here: trailer park boys the movie...while you are at it watch all 7 seasons you will laugh your fucking ass of for 3 weeks

@JarredLV, treasure quest was a sick ass concept, and i watched all the 'sodes, but i was pissed that they never actually really found anything

I hate you. I was about to watch treasure quest and you spoiled it for me :(

It's still worth the watch. They still find a few things, no huge cache of gold or anything, but it's still pretty cool to see the process. I like it because that is pretty much my ideal life. Hanging out on the open sea searching for sunken history.

Sidenote, Spain and the US courts can go fuck themselves - 17 tons of silver, gold coins from 1804 shipwreck are returned to Spain - The Washington Post

Has anyone seen the "wild wonderful Whites of West Virginia" on netflx? It's a documentary. It's hard to find words to describe these people.

Here's some of my latest hidden gem finds: (all images are links to the movie)

This is the first pick I decided to try out from this thread. I'm about an hour in, and so far it's terrible. The way they all react to a pandemic is retarded, and nothing has really happened in an hour. Hoping for at least a mass shooting spree in the end.

Netflix streaming has slim pickings. That was a watchable movie, IMO.

If the subtitles were written in crayon with every "e" reversed, perhaps you'd understand and enjoy it more?

Peasant.

lol, I mean the subtitles could have been better but that doesn't bother me. I didn't finish the movie, the plot was so weird/boring for a pandemic movie (which is one of my favorite movie categories). I'm a Netflix junkie though (and the author of the first streaming thread), so I'll put together some of my picks.

Was so pissed when they took off Moon.

I'm going to try this again, because these movies are awesome and nobody has mentioned them:

Anyone got any suggestions on some good thrillers or movies that are similar below?

Devil
Next Three Days
Taken

Law Abiding Citizen
Super 8

I know there is more that I watched but I just can't think of them because I watched so many. Anything similar above would be awesome
