Obama is the dumbest liar in history

Ohh -- and I do believe we are dropping in education as well.... if you aren't edubecated it's hard to be cretive. now what I'm sayin.

We need to seriusly get a handle on shit at the govment level.... I don't think it's oboma or mcnugget. While Paul never had a prayer maybe enough people heard the real message and are running for local offices - in time they won't be local... And when things start to get 'bad' maybe the sheep will listen.

I see things differently. Education is lacking, but as long as there are educated people in the right position, the market continues. I grew up in Europe and America and because of my schooling in Europe I am what might be considered very well educated.
But it's bogus.
About 95 percent of what I have studied I have never used in real life and on the other hand European upbringing is lacking what I consider the free spirit of enterprise.

I don't care if other nations have a higher level of education, because guess what:
The best of the best always wind up in the U.S. somehow.

America is common sense driven. Can you say the same thing about China?
Common sense and creativity will always dominate the market.
Yes, Chinese know how to spam and make money with affiliate programs, but they copy and leach on what Americans have started.

No, I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I am saying, if you look at the bad, look at the good and then look at the reality, not just the theory.

It's definitely going to be a very interesting election season this time around. On the left we have some dissension within the Clinton group in that she is having a hard time getting her core group behind Obama - many are deciding on not voting. In terms of McNugget, you have many that feel he is not conservative enough.

Very interesting indeed.

Common sense and creativity will always dominate the market.

(bridge to nowhere)
(200m dollar Studies on why the war on drugs isn't working)
(Reality TV)

what common sense :)

O.k - me and my rum REALLY are going to bed now. I'm finding myself rather cynical tonight and that's not a good thing. America is still great - just getting a little fat, stupid, and lazy....

My attitude these days is to go with the least of all evils. :)
Too old to be sold yet another dream but yet another showman with no substance (Obammy).
20 years ago I would have prolly said "Dang, that guy is good" and then be disappointed waiting for the next election to come.

I dunno what to say, you make some excellent points. I have lived in Costa Rica for 2 years and can definitely agree that many Americans have become complacent. One of the things you will notice here is that if you don't have the cash to buy a car, you won't get credit either.
America is a system based on banking. You have to be strong and make it on your own if you want to succeed.
Once many people got what they want, they just collapse in the couch and munch on crap and medicate themselves. However, I think that's a choice. And I prefer to be able to choose to be some fat fuck eating viagra and valiums OR buying a gym membership and starting a business that inspires me and get a small business loans easily. :)

Remember, your vote counts. Don't waste it. Let the world know that your an advocate for change, an advocate for souless shells, an advocate for laying waste to all humanity--with universal health care. Vote Cthulhu for president!

seriously, doesn't that idiot know McCain is just waiting for the final debates to let him have it about his welfare reform lies? I swear, the dude is the biggest dingbat and hot air balloon since the beginning of American history.

Pretty scarry to see how the media hype reaches so many dumbasses to give a doofus like that an actual shot at the Presidency.
Most bias comment I heard so far..:D

Well, regardless of the economic position, McCain is a war hawk. There is no doubt about it. I got a good laugh when he was trying to stir up anti-russian sentiment with the, "Kick Russia out of the G8."

As for education, you have to differentiate between education and money making. Otherwise, you'll get a system how it used to be a couple hundred years ago, the elite were educated and the rest where trained how to become serfs.

As with all superpowers you'll find they will influence world politics, economics, etc. towards themselves first and foremost and then think of others. So it's understandable why some nations will be pissed off.

People need to get over the illusion that politics is about them, it never was and it never will be.

Heck, to be completely honest, I can't wait to see the definition of "racism" if Obama wins. He's the prime example of how a president can be persuaded to go against the "best" for the country.

And if I walk through a store and hear "Barrack's really showing those white people" one more time ... oh who am I kidding, if I hit them for it or confront them - I'm a racist and will be arrested.

PS - I'm not racist, I'm what the country is making me to be!

I can understand that, but also believe that right now is a good time to reach out to the left so everyone is happy. 8 years ago I would not have voted for him. Now the answer is "yes".

So you think we should vote based on appeasement of the other side of the political spectrum every four or eight years? Wouldn't it make more sense to vote for whoever would (hopefully/potentially/ideally) bring about the most economic (and social) productivity?

i can't wait for that bumbling geriatric retard mccain to try and debate one of the best public speakers/debaters of our generation. the dude can't even remember the shit he's voted on. he's gonna get raped.

More than likely true, but that is only because you don't have to be right, or say anything with any substance at all, to win a debate. Besides that, as it's been said here, no one wants the answers that are best for the country. It's going to take some rough times to open the eyes of the general public to what needs to be done. Not this whining about $4 gas, I mean a major downturn or depression. People will have to really feel the pain.

Even if McCain went in with a solid and realistic plan for fixing a few of the major issues (which he won't), the people of the US wouldn't care. They'll listen to Obama smooth talk about nothing, and think he's the better candidate.

Intelligence and common sense is by and large absent from the minds of most Americans (strike that, most people). Good luck to anyone voting for anything that makes sense. Unfortunately for now, you are fighting a losing battle.
