Ha. Dude, congress can over ride veto with 2/3 vote. In the end, they are the ones creating the bills and passing them into law (with a Presidential sig). The President can't do too much but parade around for PR and hand out incentives to the members of congress to support pieces of legislation he wants to ram rod through.

He can act with humility and respect by shaking hands, nobody should be bowing to anyone. These are world leaders who are supposed to be on a level plane, not someone bowing to their karate class sensei.

Actually, it's quite easy. He's a thug to the real patriots in America while acting submissive to every two-bit dictator and foreign totalitarian. The only people I've ever seen Obama be rude, thuggish, and nasty to are conservatives, our ally Israel, and our ally Britain. It's the weirdest bizarro-world behavior I've ever seen.

I understand it much better than you think. Have been living in the states for more than half of my life. I'm just positioning my posts as "I wonder why" because it's more amusing to debate that way. Not because I don't actually understand why conservatives are the way they are.

If anything, they would be more willing to cooperate with the US or at least not stand in the way.

Why is that bad?

Britain is a weird case on its own. Israel is more of a liability than an ally. Consevatives are much better at building stuff at home than dictating foreign policy.

During the cold war, Israel was very important from a strategic perspective. Now, it's just a burden that on top of it seriously flirts with China.
