Again, there are NO email/ZIP offers which are incentivized!!
Those incentivized offers are all sales based.
If someone can show me 'incentivized' ZIP/email offers, please let me know...
Thanks! :)

Maxbounty:

$50 Burger King Gift Card (ONE FIELD - INCENTIVE ONLY)
Only email address is required to generate the lead.

Thanks Akk0!
I didn't know that...
That's the only offer or they have more?
Anyone knows about other networks as well?

PS - by the way, everyone HAPPY NEWYEAR - 2007!!! :D

Oh they all very depending on how many people download it, some of them you can get a couple hundred downloaders at once

Yeah most of them want you to give the URL to a site of yours. I think you can get away with most websites though - I've never been rejected. It's like applying for Adsense, just use whatever you've got (well maybe not a markov'ed scraper site).

Hi all. Just wanted to give a heads up after quickly reading the thread. Based on the first post, this would NOT be allowed by MaxBounty, and I'd be surprised if any network allowed it. Pretty much all networks have T&Cs which don't allow adult related traffic. So if you insist on trying it, please don't with our network as you'll almost surely get caught and booted.

Now let's say you tried this idea WITHOUT any attachment to adult content... well it would be allowed as long as you stick with campaigns which accept incentive traffic, don't mislead the surfer or give negative instructions in any way ("after you sign up, just unsub right away!"), use approved creatives and adhere to all terms.... problem then becomes what content could you password protect which you actually have permission to use.

That said, I suspect the quality of this traffic would be VERY low in either case and while you might not get booted from a network if you tried the non-porn version of this idea, you might find hefty reversals once the merchant checked lead quality, and almost certainly would be removed from advertising those specific campaigns in the future. You might even still get booted from some networks as you are arguably initially misleading the surfer by requring a password for content you most likely don't own.

A better, safer and longer term source of traffic (while not as revenue potent) would be to try a similar idea, but direct the surfer simply to YOUR site instead of a redirect to a sponsor. Gets eyeballs on your website, whatever that is, and some traffic will naturally flow through to your sponsors through approved creatives. I wouldn't try Havok's idea as a means of sending traffic to sponsors, but instead as a means of getting traffic to your website.

Nice with a comment from you, as an affiliate manager at maxbounty right?
I actually signed up for maxbounty today for this. And I read the agreement and saw those no porno/illegal rules etc. So then I thought, well, there still is freeware music, software etc you can do this with. And your idea with traffic to your own site is good too, thanks for it.

A question for anyone.

To actually set this up, I would need to enter zip/email myself to come to the page after and see what words are written there, so I could use any word as a password, right? Wouldn't it be fraud for me to that? Just like clicking my own adsense.

Anyone used CPA Empire for this? I might give it a little go. If you are, what offers are you using? Just wondering because most of the offers can't be incentivised.

Yes, it would be fraudulent...

JP Sauve,

I appreciate that you gave us all a different view how things might work as well using the same concept. Ofcourse you will get this way less leads by not showing porn and sending visitors to your own website first, but still I think you should be able to make leads per day in a legit way. At the end you keep the ad network as a friend and probably less risk that those big torrent sites will close your account as well! :)

At the end you keep the ad network as a friend...

That's the wisest thing I've read today. And really it's not just the network you keep as a friend, but the end merchant as well which is equally important. I know fair bit of affiliates will read this thread, try the porn version anyway, earn $100, maybe more, and ultimately get booted, hoping they get paid before they get caught. The right minded affiliate will try to make it legit... and while it might take him a couple weeks to earn that same $100, he'll be earning it over and over and win in the long run.

I honestly think that the legit method would work better and earn more in the long run.

I agree with the fact that the legit way as explained will probably last longer, but I do hope that it will be more then $100 otherwise I will move on to the next project... :D

I never understood why some affiliate programs don't accept adult traffic. They have free condom offers, Girls Gone Wild DVDs, Playboy Vs Penthouse, Lingerie, Playboy Dating...

So no need to use this tactic with affiliate programs if you don't want to. It works well in other ways if you just get creative with it.

I guess it would probably work best if you have content that is related to whatever you're offering for download. Alternatively, many torrent sites list what's popular - you could always re-seed something popular that's not porn-related (Just watch out for the riaa/mpaa monkeys). Chances are if someone just spent half the day downloading a movie, they might be slightly pissed that they have to go to your site to get the password, but chances are they will do it, rather than just download another version.

Its the exact same thing dude why would it matter, it would be the same quality traffic, nobody will know where its coming from anyway
