I have been testing out pizzas at home on the grill, I think I got it down now.

1)you can buy dough already made or use the Jiffy pizza quick dough(just add water)

2) once you roll it out to desired thickness place on your preheated outdoor grill for 5-6 minutes

3)once it is crispy on the bottom bring back inside to place your toppings on the side that has been grilled.

4)Place back on the grill for another 5 minutes or until the cheese melts and there you have it.

Really comes out similiar to what you would expect a brick oven pie to taste like.

An extra tip: once you grill the first part and bring it inside to get your toppings loaded up... coat the grilled part with olive oil that has been sitting with fresh garlic for a few hours, really adds a nice flavor to it.

If grilling is your thing and you enjoy pizza, give it a try and if you do it another way would love to hear your method...

This looks good, but what i would worry about is the flavor of the charcoal or gas getting all over the pizza.

You seeing any of that?

Hello friend,

It very impress that you make pizza at home. But I curious why you make it shape of cover for toilet?

Good luck bro

Not at all, it cooks really quick so no gas taste at all(medium heat). Really comes off the grill very fresh.

I make pizza all the time. Just made one like two nights ago. I usually use one of these: presto pizza - Google Product Search

I make my own dough and sauce. Takes about an hour. I usually have some refridgerated premade dough on hand though just in case I want a quicker one or am feeling lazy.

I don't have my dough recipe in this room with me but I got it online somewhere. It's awesome. Let me know if you want to try it and I'll try to find it or just type it out if I can't. It's not hard just time consuming.

This is more or less the pizza sauce recipe I use:

Easy Pizza Sauce I - All Recipes

Except just using tomato paste and water seems to make me shit blood so instead I skip the water and I add a can of tomato sauce(8oz for richer 15oz for more) and double the basil and oregano.(I just skip the rosemary) Then you can usually use half for one pizza and store the rest in the fridge.

You can sautee the garlic in the some of the oil if you want and then pour it in. That's what I do with spaghetti sauce, I just decrease the basil and oregano and add sugar. Or just use garlic powder if you don't have or don't feel like fucking with fresh garlic.

Grilled pizza over charcoal is the bomb! It has such a nice odder and extra flavor. It's the only way to go if your going to grill pizza IMHO (although admittedly a pain in the ass for just a pizza).

I bet you $20 that Rage puts bratwurst on his pizza. Nothing wrong with that, just sayin....

Haha, no. Although it would be tasty, I've never even seen (or used) brats as a pizza topping. Not saying it's never happened before, but it's not common place at all.

You now owe me $20, pm me for my paypal.

I have done sausage and ricotta, it was OK

a brat marinated in beer might be tasty ?

Yeah just cook the brats in beer (what we respectivly call "beer brats"). Just make sure you get some brats with some flavor, there typically labled along the lines of "ball park" brats, and are typically lighter in color. Although outside of Wisconsin I can't say because every brat I've had outside of the state has sucked huge.
