Whats this crap now.

All ads are getting rejected because they don't have a call to action. I can't get anything through unless it says 'Register now! or Click here!'

While previously (24 hours ago) this was never an issue.

You should always have a call to action anyway.

I think they are requiring it so that people don't buy traffic then wonder why their ctr is 75% less than what it would be with a call to action.

does dynamic keywords ({state:default}) work in the URLs too?

for instance, if i want to make the subid the state that the user is coming from, will xyz.com/subid={state:default} work?

for the love of god PLEASE let us delete old campaigns this is getting ridiculous

There is a drop down at the top left that let's you choose to only view running campaigns. This can clean it up a bit until there is a way to fully delete em

Maybe I'm just fucking retarded but is there a bug in the interface where all your ads show "no targeting specified" even though they do have targeting?

I keep creating fresh ads using the POF Uploader tool and when I check them in the POF interface they always say 'no targeting' which kinda freaks me out a bit....

EDIT - Ignore me I was being a douche.

Going to be hard to "nazi" the ad guidelines. The site is a real piece of shit, and without all you guys dumping money into their coffers - it would probably fade into internet abyss over the next few years.

Yea the site is piece of shit, it doesn't have any new web elements like logo reflections or shiny gradients. Your dating site is way more modern, has reflections under it's logos and that's why it's way more successful than PoF.

Yes!

While I'm not sure why they're requiring this, split tests and studies have usually shown that call to actions are very helpful in increasing CTR and even conversion rate.

Users were confusing ads as POF.com. We try to reduce this as much as possible, thus we feel that a simple solution is to add "join", "register" or "sign-up" to your ad. As the other guys have mentioned, ads should have this anyway.

It has nothing to do with reflections or gradients. It has everything to do with a poor user experience and clunky interface. Sorry.

if you think their ad guidelines are "nazi" you should see some of the shit I get approved on PoF lol.

BEN,

Adding call to action isnt solving this problem.

You guys just declined basically all of my new ads and EVERY single ad had a call to action and these are all ad formats I have used in the past and gotten approved since you guys opened your doors for self serve.

This is complete bullshit.

"Click here sign is free." at the end of an ad seems like a call to action to me.

I love getting ads rejected because of "excessively large breasts".

...Fucking breast nazis.

Oh well, still got love for PoF. Like Facebook back awhile ago.
