12 years of roman-catholic school here. This is what it taught me...

If the god they taught me about exists, he's a fuckin DoucheBag. I want no part of him or his fucking stupidity so please; just send me to hell motherfucker.

So lets see about 2K years ago he sent his only son here to suffer and die. Why? To save us from our sins because he loves people soo much. wtf? Am I the only one that sees the insanity of that?? Yo Bitch, your fucking god; you can do whatever the fuck you want to save mankind.

The list of his childish temper tantrums is almost endless; the epic flood, pestilence, starvation etc. etc. No I don't fear him. He's a fucking douchebag. Fuck him and the horse he rode in on. I want nothing to do with that fuckhead.

Oh and btw, more people have been killed in the name of religion than other reason. Hey great idea this Catholic religion thing you invented Jesus -- your a fuckin genius ain'tcha?

Religion is a man made instrument of control. Period.

I do however believe in a god, just Not your god.

Lol welcome to the club.

But if you do believe in god, then who created god? Surely you cant say he just "exists" and if you do believe that anyways you are being irrational....

There are more things on heaven and earth, Horatio, that are dreamt of in your philosophy.

If God is real, he wouldn't have made tigers because tigers eat pandas, and pandas are good, according to my worldview.

God doesn't have to make sense....he's fucking God. If you can't understand him then that's your fault, not His.

Trolling aside, if there is a God, then he doesn't give a shit about us. I like to think that maybe a God created us, but doesn't intervene in the day to day and just watches. Look at all the fucked up stuff going on in the world and it's hard to argue otherwise.

My problem with atheists is that they have this ridiculous belief that somehow if they can't detect something or can't understand it, therefore it doesn't exist.

This way of thinking gave birth to flat-earth belief centuries ago.

If miracles existed we'd have documentary proof of amputees growing back limbs. Suck on that Morris Cerullo you money grabbing charlatan.

My prob with theists is that they have this ridiculous belief that somehow if they can imagine something, and it makes them feel better about the horror of death, then it's probably true.

Your claim that they were imagining something is conjecture, though. You can't go back in time and verify that.

What you can do, however, is verify that most atheists present as their grandest evidence, the fact that they simply don't understand why God doesn't act in the way they want.

Like people expecting presidents to take time off of their schedules to visit their small towns and solve their own personal problems.

Kinda irrational, bro. Just sayin'.

And you have a ridiculous understanding of what Atheists believe.

Modern day Atheists simply don't believe in deities because there's insufficient scientific evidence for it.

On the other hand, plenty of Atheists believe that black holes exist, because they have quite a bit of supporting scientific evidence.... yet they can't be detected, or very well understood.

What you can do, however, is verify that most atheists present as their grandest evidence, the fact that they simply don't understand why God doesn't act in the way they want.

Are you being serious?.....I have never once heard an Atheist say "God doesnt exist because we dont understand why he doesnt act in the way we want"... and that is certainly NOT an Atheists 'Grandest' piece of evidence.

Yet i hear plenty of Atheists talk about evolution, how old the earth actually is, and the lack of current proof of a God existing.

Atheists know fine well that they cannot prove god doesn't exist, and religious people cant prove that he does, all we can use is the data and evidence we have, and come to a logical conclusion.

Or you could just be Christian about it and have 'faith' and throw reason out the window.

How are atheists irrational? If anything we are the most rational people... we dont believe in god for the same reason you dont believe in santa and pink unicorns. Does a pink unicorn exist? I say no and wont believe in it until im proven otherwise and your saying we are irrational? lol wut

I've got no time for someone that can't admit that people often make up fantasies to make themselves feel better about harsh realities in life... and that the harshest reality of all (perma-death) probably has the most intensely defended fantasies.

God is a man that once lived upon an earth just like ours, and because of his righteousness he was given his own universe to be God over. He is a man of flesh and bone. He has a wife and they created all of us spiritually by having sex in heaven. We are all the spiritual offspring of God. God gets to have sex with his wife for all eternity.

Once he created all of us, he had a big meeting with us all. He told us he wanted all of us to have the opportunity he has had (to be a God).

But he presented a problem, we didn't have physical bodies like he did. We were just spirits. We needed to come to earth to get a body. His plan was that we all would go to earth to get a body and after we die we would come back to live with him again in Heaven. EVERYONE.

The one stipulation he put on this whole deal is that only those who live righteous lives according to his commandments will be able to be a God like him and have everlasting sex and their own universe. All others regardless of faith, race, worthiness, etc will go to Heaven, but they will never be able to have sex again and this will be a mental hell for eternity.

Who created God's God, and the God before that? Maybe it was all a big bang in the very very beginning, but the God of this universe once lived on an earth like we did (not Jesus), and now is our chance.

Wait, so insufficient scientific evidence means it doesn't exist? As in, prior to the discovery of germs, germs didn't exist?

You're making my case, buddy. Most atheistic beliefs are irrational.

If you were rational, you would believe that insufficient evidence simply means insufficient evidence. It has no bearing on actual existence or non-existence of currently unknown entities.

Now if any atheists believed THAT, they'd be rational.

I've got no time for someone that can't admit that people often make up fantasies to make themselves feel better about harsh realities in life... and that the harshest reality of all (perma-death) probably has the most intensely defended fantasies.

Granted, people do that. But that doesn't warrant labelling everything a made-up fantasy.

In fact, you'd have to actually think about what you're suggesting, and ask yourself how plausible it is. Do people today spontaneously start lying to themselves and others because they can't stand perma-death?

Hard to put any stock in that idea. Smells like bullshit.
