legit terrorists were coming out of chechnya probably funded by the west (not colonialism) and those "eastern european" countries are hardly independent imo. kiev, moscow and st. petersburg were the original 3 sister cities of the slavic empire. ukraine may as well be russia and probably will be again one day. same with belarus. ukraine probably would already be part of russia again by now if it weren't for yulia tymoshenko and her western-funded "orange revolution" (hence why she is in jail now).

jenzkc, it's only partially funded by west (orange revolution), quite a sum went from ex-russian oligarch Berezovskiy, which critizied Putin a lot 12 years ago cause of submarine Kursk issue, he was ...emm..put away from Russia at all and made revolution in UA to come back there.

Well, we're not talking about the easily produced Chinese made stuff you find at Walmart. China purchases a lot of their jet fighters and such from Russia.

WW3 - Drone Wars

Many of you are talking about aircraft carriers and guns and other traditional weapons as if any of that shit matters anymore. You're going to end up like the Polish, fighting German tanks with horse cavalry.

WW3 will likely be a robotic/drone war with far more casualties than WW2. It will be a Japs wet dream (they fucking love robots).

If the Chinese invaded with miniature drone technology I'd like to see those guns save you. Imagine a bullet that can maneuver around corners, fly into your house, find you hiding under your bed, and explode near your head. Now imagine 100+ of them for each target. Some of them could be used to take out doors that you might be hiding behind, then the rest come in like a swarm of bees to finish you and your family off.

Guerrilla warefare will become almost meaningless. Quagmire - whatever. You can't hide from this shit.

Imagine a swarm of miniature versions of this shit, strapped with explosive:

They already have cameras installed. That thing was made from publicly available components. Imagine what can be made with a governments backing in private.

Why is this different than other WMD? Because the mass killing that it can do won't also spoil the land as it does in nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare. So invaders can just move right in.

I'm a major technophile but personally I think tech will just keep getting more and more dangerous as time goes on. I'm not sure if there's going to be any real solution to any of this but my guess is that it would involve taking away peoples rights, privacy, and possibly even governments.

That's my tinfoil hat rant for the day.
