While I have read this in non christian circles - I have never heard it in Christian circles.

The bible says the Jews will be re-gathered - it happened. Now whether it happened because the bible said it and events were brought about to fulfill the prophecy or because man was trying to make reality meet what the bible says - that's up to you to decide.

But I have never heard Christians say they want to keep them there to "hasten the end of days". Any true Christian should admit there is nothing man can do to "encourage the end times".

Hagee does not follow the Bible. He is a marketer. He has many theological errors including his Dual Covenant theory regarding the Jews. He has found a way to make money exploiting Israel. No normal Chrisitian would be around groups like Hagee's.

Before we get into a huge discussion know that even some of the New Testament was written to correct churches of the day that were deviating from proper theology. So it can only be assumed we have those churches today also. The Bible makes it clear there will be churches, prophets etc that will all come in the name of Christ but not be of Christ.

The Book of Revelation even has chapters dedicated to end times Churches that have lost their way.

Russia is completely in the right here to make demands in regards to the missile shield being deployed near their borders. You can spin the objective of the shield however you want, but the fact remains that it severely undermines Russia's ability to use their nuclear arsenal as an effective deterrent. If the shield would be deployed the way it is currently planned, the strategic balance of power and political influence will make a tremendous shift.

If Russian wanted to "push the button" and launch a full scale attack the defense shields would be completely overwhelmed and provide virtually no protection against the insane amount of active ICBMs that Russia has.

The lat few posts about a ICBM shield is a flashback to the Reagan era debates on the ABM treaty & Star Wars. Almost verbatim. Back then it was the USSR mad and making threats blah blah blah - everyone worried blah blah blah - of course the youngins here have no idea what I am talking about.
