I've been having "gathering data" for I think 4-5 days. Also, my rankings are inaccurate. Just reporting this (I sent ya an email too).

As for the account, it's a great service when it does work - I login a few times a day. I'll give it a week or so before I consider cancelling. If it gets fixed, don't hesitate on ordering its a wonderful service.

Same.

I'm on the verge of just buying AWR - it's cheaper in the long run, too.

What the hell is going on with my sescout? You guys just billed me, yet it's been having problems since the day you billed me (gathering data for days, inaccurate reports).

Seriously, an update would me nice. And +1 for my email notification not working.

Issues are definitely on our end guys. We made the decision to take the site offline for the time being. It sucks, we know.

We have two devs and just brought in a 3rd, we are working hard to get everything back to normal as quick as possible.

We will absolutely provide a refund to anyone that requests one.

Just to be clear, this isn't us rolling out a new feature without extensive testing, it's an issue with the existing system that we are working on.

We had our plates full with 2 people, we've brought on a 3rd and are working hard to stabilize.

This isn't a side-project for us, it's a full time job and we are treating it as such. We are doing our best to make sure issues like this won't happen in the future.

We value each and every customer we have, if you prefer a refund, please contact us and let us know, otherwise your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

IMO, you shouldn't wait for customers to come to you for a refund, you should be proactive. The service wasn't usable for, what, 5 days? Unstable and hit-or-miss for even longer.

Are you suggesting to refund all of our customers? Credit for down-time, likely, to refund each and every one, not viable. If you signed-up / upgraded in the past week absolutely. Each customer is a different situation, again if you are interested in a refund, please contact us and let us know.

I guess what they're trying to say is "Why do we have to pay money for days when your service isn't working?"

This.

They shouldn't make their customers do more work to get money that is owed to them.

You don't, if you want to cancel, you absolutely can and we will refund you for your time. Unfortunately with paypal, there is no way we can "mass suspend" or prevent a subscription from going through without completely canceling it, at which point a users account will be suspended if they don't renew.

A "mass refund" of some sort is also completely not plausible (again paypal). The best I can think of is to give future credit to paying members for the interruption in service.

I can't recall any service that automatically refunds a user based on downtime. Again, we will likely figure a way to credit all of our users for the unfortunate interruption, but it truly is the best we can do right now.

Quick edit* - Not everyone uses us for hourly updates. Some people are still perfectly satisfied with the service and have made it absolutely clear that they aren't interested in a refund or cancellation.

Agreed with Choller - I love your service, don't get me wrong. As for everything else, I see that the thing is no longer saying "Gathering information", but is showing ranks. What pisses me off though, is those rankings are inaccurate. I constantly have to check through my computer, or VPNs just to confirm that I didn't really go down to position # 8 when in fact im position 3.

When will that be fixed?

Looks like I picked the wrong day to signup, but the positive comments far outweigh the negative. Hopefully will be able to view my results in a day or two.

It looks like you did :-/ I went ahead and cancelled my recurring subscription through paypal. When the service works, its a great asset. For several days it was showing updating, check back in an hour or whatever.

As of yesterday, it starting showing actual numbers. My problem though, is that almost all those numbers are inaccurate. It'll show a google rank of 7, when in fact im 3 or 4.

It's almost like... Going to google and being logged in and checking for your key (it gives inaccurate information). To check my keys I use either vpns, or sites like proxify and hidemyass and they all match up. Whatever their using to check the rank #s, is inaccurate.

I was a member for severa several months. I hope they fix it.... But until then, blah

My plan is a $1 a day, I am not going to lose sleep over a few days of issues with SEscout. It has been a great tool for me as a Newbie to the SEO World, yeah I'd like to have more up-time but the Service isn't even 6 months old yet.

There are other web-based tracking services out there with some more features that have plans that are $100, $500 and $2,000 a month. I'll stick with SEscout for $30 a month and live through their growing pains.

And there's also professional trackers with many more features that's $400/year, who have been around much longer.

Point is, it often feels like we're paying to beta test this service.
