Looks like Greg Fowler of SEOWeave is doing their social media.

Wow, almost 3k 1 star reviews.

Meanwhile Roller Coaster Tycoon has over 600 5 star reviews. RCT wins again. Nice.

That game is responsible for a large proportion of my interest in business.
Pretty much same here. That game was the bomb diggity, could play for hours on end. Really gave you that feel of creating something, loved it. Dat feel.

Actually installed and played the old original game some months back. Apart from somewhat dated graphics, it's still awesome. Never got around to Railroad Tycoon though, although I heard good things

lol this is looking like a massive disaster for EA at this point but I'm sure they will fix it, they've spent way to much time/money developing it.

I hate that games require the internet but at the same time this should open up a marketplace and allow people to sell game items. It ensures that everyone is on the same playing field. Also this opens up the ability for contests and potentially using cities you build in games like the Sims.

I only play Counter Strike: GO from time to time. This is the only other game that is interesting to me. However I highly doubt I'll have much time to play.

Anyone know if the servers are getting better? Planning to get it this Monday, hoping they will be fixed by then.

I'll check right now. I haven't even got in a game yet (bought it last night)

update; in like a virgin on prom night

Well I was in, then this happened.

Now they are just teasing me

Getting it just now.... i dont know why really, its more like Sim Town than city, and the thought of EA thrusting its throbbing capitalist cock deep within my cavities somewhat excites me as a gay webmaster, but not as a consumer.

Anyway, i've always been a hardcore SimCity fan and i know this release is dumbed down and plagued by server issues and what not, but the vodka won the day and i bought it.

Will report back, probably in anger and angst, but i deserve nothing less.

Got it downloaded it, server available and green (yay!).............. "City not available at this time."

I dont know why i expected more. I was involved with both betas, in which getting into a game was sporadic and required perseverance, but i always got in eventually.

In this case, it's as if they just reached their cap and it now displays a default message saying you cant connect. ie: It doesnt even try and connect, you're just blocked from playing it from the get go.

I'm away to try other servers, i'm not very optimistic that i'll find an open one.

Note for the future - use Amazon UK for digital stuff, in case you ever want a refund. We suck for doing business here, but if you're a consumer, you have a ridiculous amount of protection.

Downloading / Updating the game took about 2 hours total, then played for a solid 6 hours straight, no issues whatsoever.

Really really fun haven't played anything other then dota 2 in a while, it's nice to have another game to play.

A SimCity Update

Everyone who activates their game before march 18th gets a free game from EA...

So if your on the fence about the game, you should order now and in doing so you'll get a free game from them on the 18th...

That's all I know, so investigate for yourself if you do

I don't even play video games that much but I thought that was cool
