Some stories about work at startups

Learn the forum you're spamming with your hosting company, dickrolling goes way back.

Julian, I read this article on another forum and it caused a long discussion there. Apparently WF members never worked at startups so they have nothing to tell on topic. No dickrolling intended. Have nothing to say - no problem, lesser fucks could not been given.

Not even relevant to what I said, lol.

Also, you can't blame a forum if they don't want to discuss something you post, like I personally view you as just some random spammer for a hosting company I'm never going to use. Sincerely, why would I comment on your threads in an honest/nice way when I'm not even sure you do marketing or making an effort to learn? Check your thread and post history.

I should take this time to mention Knownhost who I am a big fan of for all my VPS needs.

SSD VPS Servers, Cloud Servers and Cloud Hosting by Vultr - Vultr.com is good for VPSes, too.

Julian, with all respect to you and all the guys here, I do not give a single flying fuck about the hosting you use or recommend, neither I care if you will buy hosting from my company or not. You can see it in one of my previous posts, if you'd be so kind to check my post history. I am not spamming this forum as I have no intent to sell anything to anyone here.

At the same time, the article I mentioned is REALLY published on Gizmodo, it REALLY tells about shitty experience people had at startups and it REALLY started a great, long and interesting discussion on one forum I frequent (and maybe on more than that one).

If you have nothing to say on this topic - that's fine, I do not expect you to. But don't lecture me, please. I know it's not relevant to marketing and I do not care. There are lots of topic here that are not relevant to marketing and nobody gives a single fuck.

p.s. I know there is a crazyllion of hosting companies. Some are bad, some are good. Everyone chooses the one that fits your needs most (and most of you guys look at the price and nothing more; glad to see you think of service quality , too). You rarely find the one that exceeds your expectations, so it's your choice to avoid trying HostZealot - yet it's your choice and I can't blame you.

Haven't logged in for months and it took me 15 tries to get the captcha right but it's worth it to say...

HostZealot. Redundant Dedicated Servers, KVM VPS, Web Hosting + free Domain.
HostZealot Reviews
Host Zealot Coupons

Here's to hoping OP keeps posting and this thread gets good =)

Thanks for your effort and sarcasm. We offer no coupons, because dirt-cheap prices bring dirt-bad service (not always, but usually it is so. Enterprise grade Supermicro hardware we use costs money, and professionals don't work for hugs and kisses).

As for reviews - almost every support ticket endds with appraisals from our clients, but they are too lazy to post on forums and we do not want to ask them for it. The only way to find out the truth is to try it yourself, as I said.

I mean, aren't you hear to just try and fit in and post content we might like so we get a chance to see your sig? Of course I'm not going to put you down for promoting yourself, but I can make fun of the strategy/efforts.

I can't link to other forums (rules), but you currently have multiple forums you're posting on like this. Wouldn't you have a much easier time not going under your brand name and putting it as another name? It's less commercial for a community you don't add anything to. You can go under the radar more.

Do you see other web hosts posting on a forum like WF telling people they don't give a fuck? Overall horrible brand positioning and promotion of yourself.

You right now trying to fit in with web marketers/forums:

Julian, please let me try to explain this and PLEASE try to believe me.

I found out about WickedFire from one of other forums. This forum isn't actually much popular across the web, people rarely mention it (not because promotion of other forums is prohibited - mentioning is not promotion; just because people rarely like to share their experience here). The guy who mentioned WF said it was a "tough experience, a harsh community to get along with"

When I came here and read your forum a bit, I saw that this is a harsh community indeed. However, many people here are true experts in internetet marketing, affiliate marketing, business promotion, software creation, SEO optimization, you name it. Not like WarriorForum "gurus" with bad English who want to sell you their crappy e-books describing "tHe Best Evah stRategiE to Earn Monies wHile doIng NOthing" for $5. You guys truly know what to do.

I was wondering why there are no hosting offers here, I saw just one B/S/T trade. I tried to tell you about HostZealot.com service, because I thought you might need enterprise grade Supermicro hardware, unmetered bandwidth and reliable service, hence the signature. I have this sig on all forums I frequent.

However, several members explained me, that most of you guys are conservatives who prefer dealing with the same companies through the years. Moreover, some of you do not need hosting services at all.

Thus said I DO NOT EXPECT ANY ORDERS FROM HERE. I know you are cynics who are well acquainted to crappy Indian hosting companies "Please sir, buy my hosting" and you think me to be one of them without even trying to check the actual state of events. I said I do not give a fuck on this opinion, because I am the same like you, no matter how hard you try to deny it. Our service is excellent but the only way for you to check if it's true is to TRY IT, because we do not incentivize our customers to write appraisals on forums.

Many tickets to our support system end with appraisals and words of gratitude from our customers, because issues that usually take tons of your time, money and effort with big providers - these issues are solved within a couple of hours with us.

Here are some examples. Of course you can say I made them up, but I do not really care, I copy&pasted them from our admin panel.

Why so? Because we do not have several millions of customers with mad ideas and little to no knowledge. Most of our customers are webmasters like you, who know what they need and can explain their requests. And as most of requests look nearly the same - add some IPs - and they send us IP justification forms at once, add some rDNS records, add some bandwidth - our admins know how to solve them fast. Actually, a huge part of tickets is for issuing new servers or migrating their VPS packages to us, these are solved in less than an hour. Thus said, we offer specific service to specific customers and we do it good.

As for my latest posts and my attitude - I do not try to brand or promote, you are satisfied with current providers - fine, no problem, best of luck to you. I was angry at first that you act too stubbornly and selfishly - but it's your choice so no problem here. Some people are fine with carrying their luggage in hands instead of using wheeled bags - it's their choice and their convenience, after all. I just participate in conversations if I have anything to say on the topic. If I have nothing to say - I do not write anything. Should I remove my sig, Julian?

As for this thread - I literally read this article on one forum and a lot of people there shared their experience of good and bad jobs they had in startups and other companies. I posted the link here hoping for... dunno... a discussion at least. I received a shitspit instead and you were the least possible person I expected to reeive it from, Julian. But as I said, we are all cynics and hypocrites, so I do not care much. Let's just assume none of you ever had a shitty experience at work so you have nothing to discuss on the topic.

And let's get it over with, as I lost interest to this conversation. Best of luck to you all.

Lol'd hard. If politeness is so unusual to you, you must be living in the deepest shithole in the world, wezcountry.

As I said above, your opinions are based on your false accusations and I care little for them. Farts in the wind, nothing more.

I'm going to tell you this just once, because I'm kind, and then you're on your own. My post was a joke that your link did not lead to meatspin not because I thought you were a twat (though I do now) but because lots of links used to redirect to a video of two men writhing together, one having his cock firmly rammed up the other's arse. It was nothing personal, like most of the posts on here. If you're too much of a girl to cope with this forum fuck off back to warrior forum.

ps no-one gives a fuck about your hosting services, or about you.
