I'm a grown man. I've already outgrown the ego fights with drunks and whatnot. If I seriously can't avoid being attacked and leaving doesn't work or isn't possible (because god knows I'm not attacking anyone) I'm going to kill them. Period. I'm not trying to "defend myself". I'm trying to not die.

I'm well past the age where I thought I had to "prove" anything.

And even though I have a CWP, I don't typically carry (though I do enjoy the right to)

The only way I'd ever say I'd definitely shoot (and thus, shoot to kill) is if someone were in my home and there was imminent danger to me or mine.

To do otherwise is to potentially set yourself up for serious harm or serious criminal charges.

I've heard Krav Maga is good for that kind of stuff. I took a couple of classes. Seemed entertaining and useful.
