the reality of health care in the US...I love Professor Richard Wolff

He's completely wrong about buying meds in bulk. Its walgreens, walmart, target, ect... They buy all their meds in bulk.

Its more about regulation issues, lawsuits, patent's and all the other BS that isn't allowed in other countries that keeps the cost high. Selling meds to the USA vs selling meds to china you have a hell of a lot more to worry about. One person gets sick and dies off your meds that you sold for $100, well there goes a 5 million dollar lawsuit.

--FYI: I used to run pharmacies --

Clearly, he doesn't understand if his idea was to do what we already do.

Have you watched some this guys other video's? Half of the shit he says is completely retarded and wrong. He lives in some other world.

He thinks raising taxes will stimulate the economy... lol.

is this guy lives in another world I wish we were too. I have never seen anybody explain what the hell is going on in this country better than him:

show me a video where he says that about taxes

Its a video about the economy and debt that was linked from that first video.

Don't recall what the title was. He was talking about how the government needs more money so it can do more services for us. He wanted a 5% increase on business tax.

The problem isn't that we buy Chinese "junk". The problem is WHY we buy the chinese "junk" in the first place.

Couldn't even watch more than 30 secs of that video.

dude, thats why u dont know what yuo are saying.. he does explain why we buy their crap. Because wages stopped going up in this country since the 70s. Production went up and wages stayed the same. Watch the last video I posted and youll see the guy KNOWS what he is talking about. Better than anybody in Congress for sure...

ohhhhhhhhh business tax....... well... please, watch the last video and get back to me. Believe me, he knows what he is talking about.

in that last video he acknowledges that our government doesn't represent us, but corporations or whoever the hell lines their pockets. In a normal country with a competent government, we would have a lot more services and a better infrastructure if taxes would be used wisely... ( germany, norway, etc, etc )

No he doesn't. I skimmed that video and he is talking about reducing government spending will hurt our economy. Says we need more government services if anything. Talks about laying off teachers will hurt our kids...

I went to a private school myself. Can't parents teach? Can't kids learn on their own? Obviously its not going to come down that, but seems to want to be babysat. He seems to only know what he reads. Nothing more than a book.

Also he seems to think people can't care for them self's. Well that may be true, we have been breeding a bunch of pussy followers for quite some time.

Further more he has a communist attitude. lol.

Just calling it like I see it. One good thing that he did say is "maybe there is a problem with the system". Ding ding, winner...

But he still wants us to give the government 5% of revenue? That seems a tad contradictory to me.

Thats true for some part. Like today Obama dismissed a bill that would regulate for profit colleges that are currently robbing people blind. The reason he dismissed that bill is the largest single supporter of his campaign is the owner of a for profit college. Many people who funded obama before and pulling his funding.

On a side note: Regulation isn't the key to fixing that. Its educating people about what the colleges are doing to them

I;m confused. You want all American kids to be home-schooled now?

How does that work when most households are forced to have both parents work full time?

No, thats not what I meant. I was simply trying to make the point the people have to have some sort of personal responsibility. If your kid isn't getting schooling for free well then the parents do whatever they need to do to be sure the kid IS getting what he needs.

Ok, I have to do real work now. That is all :)
