I want something original and as baller as I'm going to get on a budget.

Any suggestions?

I'm thinking along the lines of something like a 1997-1999 Ferrari 355

or anything exotic and sexy... Just don't say BMW, Audi, or Mercedes.

Ideas are appreciated:

Unless your paying cash (and not spending more than 1% of your available cash) forget about this little pipe dream of yours and get something sensible (which can still be cool)

if you live in a warm climate

Should be right about your budget, BUT!!! V8 super charged, this car will and does destroy everything else on the road (Including Ferrari Enzo) in a race.

Highly recommend Mercedes. Have a CLK 350 convertible and its a very very cool car with a nice kick to it.

Not in the same league as a Ferrari, but with a Ferrari, Lambo etc. you will need much more than the cost of the car (especially an old one) as they are a FORTUNE to keep running well and if anything major goes wrong...........forget about it.

BMWs are good too, but I have had several BMWs and Mercedess and prefer Mercs overall.

Yeah, unless I have 4.5 million I shouldn't buy what I want to buy.

I personally wouldn't buy a used Ferrari of that age. Yeah, they look great, but things like clutches and shop fee's will probably cost you another 45k+ over the life of the car. If you are familiar with working on cars id get one. Either that or spring an extra 45k and get a Ferrari gallardo that has had its service done.

I would go with something domestic like a chevy corvette or a dodge viper. If you want something more exotic could always get a lotus elise, they are cheap and people seem to think they are expensive.

Could always get a classic muscle car as well.

Fuck you can get a 355 for 45k in USA? If prices are like that I would consider maybe a early 2000's Porsche 911 GT2/GT3, Aston Martin, oldish Lambo and thats about as "exotic baller" I can think of.

Cars are 100% more expensive where I live and a car like that would set you back $100k easy. The dollar is practically the same.

$45k here would only get you a used Lexus IS350 or used mid range BMW. Lambos are also $300+k and Rolls Royces are about 700k-1 million brand new.

My experience with high end cars is that if its out of warranty it will break. Im handy but I dont want to spend that kind of money on a project car. Paying to fix it sucks!

Thats why Im sticking to leasing.

Do what you want but when shit starts to not work out the way you "wanted" it to, maybe come back and revisit this thread. Either way the advise is sound. My guess is your going to buy it on credit and between this and the Danali you will probably wind up overextending yourself (remember you dont have anywhere near that 4.5 million or you wouldn't have face palmed yourself)

Skyline GTR? It's at $40k right now but the reserves not met. They probably want $60k for it. Granted you would have a solid warranty. I just traded an IS250 for a Tahoe and I'll probably be getting a GTR (or similar) for my "fun" car at some point. Almost the same exact situation as you. Problem is... I just don't splurge, always have to somehow justify shit for myself.

Projecting much?

All you know about is me I set a budget for myself, do yourself a favor and keep the argument to yourself. Thanks.
