I'm curious to see what you guys like the most about being in IM... answer the poll above.

I personally agree with John Chow when he says that the best thing about the "dot com lifestyle" is not the money, but the ability to go to a park with your kids during a week day when everyone is at work and have the whole damn park to yourself.
 


I was in the red light district of Amsterdam, just left a coffee shop, smoking something looking at the girls behind the windows in bikinis trying to get me in their rooms and thinking I was getting paid for this

Not quite true.

You could be a director or CEO in a company and make $150k+, but you have virtually ZERO freedom. You have to show up every day at work at the same hours, be a bitch to your shareholders, have shitloads of responsibilities and only have 2-3 weeks off per year.
 
Freedom to sit and waste all day on Wickedfire while maybe checking a few stats from time to time...

Srsly, I can't choose which is more important in the poll... All seem like the same exact same thing to me...

Best perk is:
- flexible hours, i work anytime I want. (even though I often time work more hours then the average 9-5 work week)
- flexible work area, i can work anywhere; a coffee shop, at home, or even at a friends. just need to have my mac book air handy and im good (or even using my iPhone sometimes)
 
me its more that i do not have a boss is the biggest perk. not having to worry about being written up, reprimanded, if my beard is too long, having to dress up (even though i do everyday)

freedom to make as much money as i want.
