If Jesus was a Christian ( and the son of God ), why aren't Christian's God's chosen people then? Jews are.

There is no such thing as God's "chosen people" anymore. He had a covenant with Abraham and he'll always honor that. It gives them certain privileges and protections simply because of who their ancestor was.

But it was made very clear that "chosen" status became a thing of the past during Paul's time when he was shown that Gentiles were entitled to the Gospel as well.

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying. Jesus was a Jew by birth, but he introduced a new spiritual archetype into the world. It was an evolution, a new design. And he was the first design. That's why an entire religion is named after him. He was the first. Everyone else tries to copy him. He was the first Christian. It doesn't mean you would call him Christ the Christian, because that's redundant, but once you understand what mindset is being described by the word "Christian", you understand that he was truly the first one.

I don't know how influential Christ/Christianity was in the creation of Islam, but Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses would be two relatively new nontrinitarianist sects.

There's never been a consensus "makes it what it is" in regards to Christianity. The 325 AD Council of Nicaea shows that even back then not everyone was in agreement on doctrine.

Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism never invaded or killed others for religion. They are just fine with what they believe. Even atheism (no god) is accepted as one of the philosophy among these religions.

Islam identifies Christians and Jews as a group of people that believe in the one and only God, however they DO NOT believe Jesus was the divine son of God. Therefor, Islam DID not come from Christianity. The whole point in Christianity is believing Christ is son of God.. if you dont believe that, you don't believe in Christianity.

They believed Jesus was a normal man, born of Mary without a biological father ( like Adam ) and his birth was a miracle. They do not believe he was the son of God. However, just because they accept he was a prohpet, doesn't mean their religion begat from Christians.

I would like specific and valid information showing this though from anyone that can prove it without a doubt.

Christianity is a fusion of other philosophies and religions (Jewish, Hellenistic, Roman and especially Egyptian). Judaism is a blend of Zorastrianism and Yahweyism and a bit of Hinduism. Islam is the same - a blend, a fusion.

First of all, I'm a Muslim. So hate/flame me all you want. It's understandable. And tbh I'd hate me too if I was in your shoes, specially after watching something as awful as the video in the OP.

Secondly, the people in this video, and a lot of Muslims in general, don't really understand their religion and its teachings. The Qur'an states:

Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity.

Now, if I was to mention something like that to the wrong people (the not fully understanding their book/religion + that it's okay to deal with/be kind to a christian bits), I'd most likely be beheaded too. Even though the Qur'an clearly states:

And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is hell; he shall abide in it

There are a lot of verses in the Qur'an that promote peace and pacifism. They far outnumber those that call for war and violence. And to attain a better understanding of the book, you got to pair the verses with their "occasions/circumstances of revelation". Which means the context (mostly historical) in which they were revealed. Unfortunately, many Muslims don't do this. They just read something like "kill those who disbelieve", take it out of its historical context, and run with it as it is. However, they ignore stuff like:

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or/and to spread mischief in the land, it would be as if he killed all mankind

And

If they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allah. Verily He is the All-Healer, the All-Knower

I usually avoid talking about my religion, it's a personal thing after all. But I hate to see Islam being represented by people like the ones in the video, that's why I'm posting in this thread. Not all Muslims think political/militant Islam is a good thing.

grew up in islam, been to bunch of mosques still have muslim family members, cousins 2nd 3rd removed in hizbollah, brother fought in the iran iraq war i survived it.family members including my grandpa killed by scud missile. shot over from iraq. read the quran in 2 different languages. your still islamist apologist asshat living in canada.
