crazy, it worked on my normal PC on Chrome and Firefox with a regular HTTP proxy AND PrivateInternetAccess VPN! Didn't work on a VMWare instance VPN though, so it's not how Google were banning my Android account
Mine works. I'm Polish atm, but I have lots of countries available.
But yeah, doesn't show anything for "Local IPs", and just shows the one for "Public IPs", which obviously isn't mine. Best VPN service | NordVPN + Linux Mint FTW!
interdasting. is this Nordvpn better than privateinternetaccess? (speed, practicality etc)
As mentioned above no script will take care of this. The IP is being forwarded by Javascript. There's also a extention called block webrtc you can run. https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/8204/how-to-stop-webrtc-local-ip-address-leaks-on-google-chrome-and-mozilla-firefox-while-using-private-i#latest
Those extensions have been patched and don't fix it anymore.
Pale Moon fixes it however.
What does that mean? Why would they patch it so it still leaks? Noscript blocks javascript, the leak is directly from javascript, so not really sure that statement makes much sense. With that said I could be way wrong. Do have a link?
If those extensions are working for you that's fine (are they?). They didn't for me because the above linked github was patched.
But those extensions also fuck up your browsing experience on most every other website.
No IP leaks here with the vanilla version of Pale Moon.
