Fuck, bro. Glad it didn't succeed.

They are supporting terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. Trying to blow shit up in the US. Calling for the eradication of an entire nation (Israel).

Fuck man, this is a better case for war than Iraq ever was.

Then again, this is exactly what they want. They want us to go to war with them, drain all our dollas, and watch us sink.

remember a while back they leaked fake footage about comms between a US warship and some Iranian navy speedboat. They dubbed some guy saying some nasty stuff against the US.

But then the Iranians kept recordings of what happened from their side, and they proved that the American propaganda was fake.

I wasn't surprised at all

But what shocked me was how the BBC was commenting how it was "weird how the Iranians recorded their navy commander talking to the US warship on video"..


To be honest, as soon as they have enough trooops pulled out of Iraq and afghanistan expect some other staged "iranian" attack to drum up another war.
 
Not like we haven't been looking for a reason to invade Iran for years now. Oh wait here is one. Que the invasion machine, because one guy obviously had the backing of the entire Iran government.

This was a mistranslated quote from their President. Even if it is true, his views do not represent the entire nation or their government. President isn't the highest ranking position in Iran; that would be their Supreme Leader and he has said it is immoral to even possess nuclear weapons.

lol.. U.S. Says Iran... . To me that's fucking funny because the US said Irak had WMDs and therefore it needed to be invaded and kept under strict control.

It turned out that it didn't, not even a tiny whisper, a small plan.. anything, and yet... To my simple mind, it just doesn't add up that a small country with virtually no allies would attack the US.

Consequently, I would much rather believe that this is no more than a mini-reason (one that will surely be added to a much larger list) for Iran to be invaded and saved by the mighty United States.

Oh shit, I almost forgot to add that Iran has the world's third largest oil reserve. Now isn't this a funny little fact?

The US economy's even more fucked than it already is if the US isn't kept in wars, at least for the moment. Largest military in the world. Can you imagine what'd happen if half of them were made unemployed?

It would hurt us more than it hurt them.

Iran =/= Iraq.

Iran has more than double the population of Iraq. Their military is no match for us, but while they can eke out a survival post-war, no thanks to Russia, China and oil exports, we will be completely bankrupt.

A war with Iran will destroy any hope the US has of an economic recovery.

Also keep in mind that in the third world, a hundred people can die and nobody gives a shit. In the US, one soldier gets injured and we are up in arms. They have the advantage of expendability of human life.

The only way we can knock Iran on its ass is post-recovery and a heavy influx of research funds into cyberterrorism, espionage and sabotage of Iran.

Knock them out of Iraq. Knock them out of Afghanistan. Isolate them diplomatically from their neighbors. And watch the hardline anti-Americanists hoisted by a petard of their own making when protests tear up the old guard ala Egypt and Libya.

I can understand the skepticism to believe the US Government. But when it veers into irrationality such as a denial of evidence in plain sight, and the failure of journalism and citizen inquiry to find anything plain weird...

Gotta watch out you don't turn into those conspiracists.
 
What's really funny is how the media is running with this. Obama was briefed on this plot in JUNE! EricHolder made it public today to try to draw fire away from his current scandal where he lied about the guns going to Mexico.

Oh, and btw, he released this the day he was supposed to testify!

No way would we do what you are suggesting, you must have misheard him mispeaking, about something that he wasn't sure on at the time and now has no recollection of.

They've known about this for a long time. They released it today as a distraction because Holder is coming under heavy fire, and by extension, Obama. They're scared shitless about F&F and Solyndra, especially with Issa pushing subpoenas. Anyone that thinks this administration gives a shit about killing terrorists except for the purpose of PR and photo ops is a deluded idiot.

It's one thing to bomb cave dwelling stone age goat fuckers such as the Afghans, but Iraq and Iran are both civilized countries with a lot of culture and an educated population. Unless you nuke them, what goes around will come around. The Iranians are also much more patriotic & proud of their culture than the Iraqis.

I also completely agree that anything coming from the US propaganda machine and western media in general is bullshit. I remember watching BBC & CNN hating on the Indian army (supposedly raping women, killing civilians etc) at the start of the Kargil war, but when the puppetmasters decided to favour India- all of a sudden they were reporting from Indian cities praising us and the Pakistanis became "terrorists" and "aggressors". Complete BS.
