Anyone else enjoy the Jeremy Lin show?

where is this hate coming from i dont understand? Your saying if rubio was the pg was on the celtics hed have 5-6 assists because playing with Ray Allen Paul Peirce and Kevin garnett is so difficult. Im done you proved your insane.

you are insane if you think the OLD MAN celtics can run up and down with rubio all season

I watched some of last nights game, havent watched a game in years

to anyone comparing him to Tebow,

Tebow is a talentless retard, Lin wins with skill.

I think that it is pronounced ri-tard. Tim Tebow is a talentless ri-tard.

Argue all you want about who throws prettier passes and can or can't defend, Westy getting a ring this year. And it won't be the last.
This. Grindstone and I share the same sports mind, it's eery...

Lin taking over again, but let us be reality, Lin isn't an all time great point guard, he is just one of the very few actual pass first shoot second - no ballhog - point guards left in the NBA. Go watch NBA in the nineties, this was the way most point guards did their business. Imo NBA was ruined because of all the Allen Iverson small shooting guards who ballhogged the crap out of everything. Once Lin gets more experience and learns to not get in as many tight dribbling spots he will be very difficult to stop.

Seeing as he's the fucking quarterback, he should learn how to throw a football. Guy can't throw a spiral to save his live (but I guess he's been saved already)

Ask the Steelers if he can throw a spiral

but anyways, back to the topic:

Jeremy Lin is playing great

the more this Lin craze is going on, the more i start to think that some people in the NBA want to push this. there are plenty of great point guards around, and plenty of hard working great basketball players out there, but this kid, his story and the fact that NY found out it got an NBA team is the sweet ride that everyone is taking.

still, cool for the Knicks, will be good to see them on top.

I watch basketball 24/7. Lin is playing like an elite point guard (minus the turnovers) and he's only been in the starting line-up for less than 10 games.

28 points today and 14 assists. He's playing like Chris Paul and much of the hype has to do with his talent. Of course, he's breaking stereo-types but if he weren't playing this good, then he wouldn't be getting this much attention.

Oh yeah, in less than 7 games of his nba career as a starter, he has already hit a game winning shot. I don't think kobe, jordan or lebron has done that.

I'm definitely on the knicks bandwagon. LOL!

OK, made your point well.
Lets give it some time and see, in any case it brings some new fresh air to the NBA, and got half of NY crazy, thats a good thing

Yep, this Lin craze is giving the NBA a lot of exposure.

I really hope he continues on to play like this EVERY game.

I watch that Mavs/Knicks game today and Lin orchestrates the plays nicely but they play as a "team" more like college which is more fun to watch. Not this I'm Lebron or Kobe, me me me me, pay me more, I'll take it from here. Magic Johnson gave Lin quite a bit of props at half time for being able to drive/shoot/pass the ball effectively vs other guards who only do one of those things good. For the money their paying him, everybody else is banking $$ except Lin. Knicks lucked out.

Who would have thought an educated asian could play basketball that good. I hope when Carmelo gets back he doesn't disrupt the whole thing. The team looks really good going into the playoffs.

Black players seemed to have lost all knowledge of bball fundamentals in the last 10 years. It's all isolation and 1 on 1 play. That's why Lin is a success, he is just playing smart fundamental bball.

@FloydMayweather
Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise.

I have to "partly" agree with him... a young smart Asian guy from Harvard making it in the NBA, obviously the media is gonna be all over him. It's not all talent...

Who gives a shit? Like Tiger woods and the Williams sisters did not get an initial boost in attention cause they were black?

How can you say that with all the top PGS in the game right now?!

Rose
Paull
Dwill
Curry
Nash
Lawson
Calderon
Parker
Westbrook
Rondo
Rubio
Lin

Even Players Like Lebron distribute the ball a lot. Unless you are watching CArmelo(pre lin) Durant or Kobe than you have a point. Buts its not as bad as you say.

Nope, most of those players ballhog and then do isolation, dribble and then either kick out or go for a layup. That's not running an offence that's being a ballhog. Same goes for Nash, he is also a ballhog who will have the ball in his hands way too much. Go back look at Jordan, the NBAs highest scorer, he moved the ball around all the time and didn't ballhog. Players get cold if they rarely touch the ball because the ballhog point guard/shooting guard hoggs the ball. Again, it's fundamentals which are lost on high school ballers and selfish egomaniacs.
